Mojo Outdoors Critter Decoy Works Great
First let me describe what I got. The spring that the fur strips are attached to is mounted in plastic with a magnetic base inside. It doesn't have the thumb screw as shown. But it just detached when pulled up. which to me is better. If I wanted to try other attractor strips I would order an extra spring or two with magnetic base (they are cheap parts you can order) or you could cut the zip ties that hold the strips on and replace them with a different type of your own design. all the parts, such as body, battery pack, stake spike, etc. can be ordered and none are expensive. The body is plastic but pretty heavy duty, (I'm comparing to two other electronic decoys I have. One of which cost about $100.00 but does have a remote control and light for night use.), everything on the Mojo Critter is a good quality. Everything is easy to install and use, it's quiet, has that intermittent action with enough motion to really cause the coyotes, fox, and cats to lock on it too. The battery compartment door fits tight and I did have to use the edge of my pocket knife to get it to slide open. But I'd rather have that than one so loose it falls off in the field. The battery box fits snug, and look at it before removing. There is a pad inside the case that protects the electronic board, from the contact snap on wires, on the battery pack. So I make sure when I put the battery pack case in so those sit against that pad. When you put the battery pack in slide the bottom in first and if aligned correctly it goes in easy with a little room left away from the electronic circuits . You don't have to unsnap the battery wires from the case to put batteries in and I like that, (have broken wires on other devices doing that) . I also have the extension Pole made for this and use it to store the metal spike inside it when carrying it and use the spike that comes with it without the extension too. That extension pole is metal and the spike can be driven in hard ground, then the extension pole removed and the Critter body screwed on (that can be handy) and if I do need the extension for tall grass, etc., I have it. I've hunted Coyotes etc. since the late 70s and I don't care if you are a beginner or a seasoned hunter, this thing works well. I think it's one of the best dollar buys out there . People talk about a carry bag, I just put mine in a nylon cammo bag and assemble it when setting up and its not hard to do. I got a little long winded here but I'm 70 years old and hope this helps someone. There is a lot of pure junk out there today but not this.Addendum: It is possible to turn the switch on while carrying in the bag and run down the batteries. So what I do is leave the battery door loose under the cover, leave one battery out. Then before I set up I put the battery back in the pack.

Works fine
It works great connected to a Foxpro Prowler called connected via an AUX cord and using the Foxpro's remote. The Super Critter's squealer does not emit sounds when connected to my Foxpro caller, but that is as expected. When the Super Critter is not connected with the AUX cord, the Super Crtter's squealer is fairly loud and has good fidelity. Thanks, MOJO.

It works great!
The only thing I would change is the duration of the call. It needs a single call with a pause every minute.

Calls them in quick!
At first I was a little skeptical because the box was so small and I opened it up and wasn’t expecting the legs to extend out. Legs are kind of a little flimsy and unstable. It has a spot to screw in a tripod which is prettt cool. I live in the fields with a bunch of coyotes and I set this thing up and it screamed and did it’s thing for about 15 min and just when I went to give up a coyote was running right at this thing about 100 yards out and ran almost right up to it before I was able to get a shot off. I missed if course but so far this thing does the job! Great price for some fun

Coyote and bobcat decoy
I just purchased this decoy and it has its good points and not so good points. First of all the decoy looks great and the spinning tail is good to attract coyotes or bobcats. There are two battery cartridges for the decoy and the time delay is great for getting into a place of concealment. The three feet are pretty good but if there is any wind the decoy can fall over. That comes to the bad points, one it has a threaded place on the bottom of the decoy for a stack that is better for stability but I didn’t get a threaded stake for my call for some reason. Next is there is a speaker on the decoy but it’s not loud enough. A coyote or bobcat would have to be very close in order to hear the distressed rabbit call. I intend to keep this decoy for visibility reasons and am going to try and find a screw in stack for the bottom for better stability.

Live predator response
The media could not be loaded. Initially the predator was mildly paying attention to the motion. As soon as the sound kicked in after 2 minutes it was on…. Nice product. Will test on non-domesticated predators next. Seems very solid comes with 2 battery packs. Velcro fur cover is very stable and does not slide off of product. Easily deployed with confidence in field.

No brainer purchase! Get it!
I have used this in the field finally! Within 10-15 min I had a coyote come in to within about 20ft of decoy and 32 paces from me! Great product!!! Love the fact that it came with an extra battery pack. It uses 4AA batteries which is nice not to have to rely on a rechargeable pack in the field. I would recommend this to anyone! I will probably get a second one to have just because. The volume is not as loud as you would think it is designed that way, and a few people have said the sound doesn't even work. The sound is set on a delay so you have time to get back to your stand/hide. The volume is quiet enough so anything close won't get spooked from an immediate very loud call. Then if nothing comes in you can use hand calls to reach out farther. Mojo has a great design at a bargain price with this one. Love this thing!!!

Great Little Decoy!!
Operates perfectly, sound & motion! ... This ought to really draw "the critters" IN! ... Received mine ($49.99) with 2-day Prime Shipping in perfect condition, and already I notice (1-15-2014) Amazon is sold out and other vendors' prices are up by 10-bucks.... Better grab one now, before they're ALL-GONE!Haven't actually tried it out in the field yet, (will update later!) but with the sound and motion in the living room, IT DROVE THE CAT CRAZY! ...Mine also came with a SPARE battery-pack-holder, handy for out in the field.MOJO makes such hi-quality decoys (also, years ago, got a MOJO moving duck decoy!) ya can't go wrong with their products. Thanks Amazon! ... and if YOU don't have Amazon-Prime-Shipping, you really should consider it!
