## Description

A high-end, customizable 32x24 pixel thermal camera module! Monitor your CPU or coffee pot's temperature, or craft your own heat-sensing night vision camera. Compatible with Raspberry Pi or Arduino. Ideal for various projects - industrial, scientific, or recreational - at a fraction of the cost of typical thermal cameras. Our breakout simplifies usage with your Raspberry Pi or Arduino via I2C and a 3-6V supply. Choose between two field of view options: 55 (standard) or 110 (wide angle). The MLX90640 far-infrared camera boasts 768 (32x24) thermal sensors, detecting temperatures from -40 to 300C with about 1C accuracy and up to 64FPS! Its uses are vast: assess heat or heat loss of devices, pinpoint thermal inefficiencies at home, or detect presence in darkness. It's also compatible with our new , making project expansion a breeze.

Review: Resolution with interpolation is not bad. - I made a DIY IR camera using an ESP32 UNO, a 320x200 Video addon board and this camera. Source code was available up on Github. I 3d printed a case with a modified AR-15 pistol grip. I powered it with a single 18650 cellphone booster battery. Total cost was about $100. Resolution with interpolation is more than adequate for checking house for thermal leaks and for automotive troubleshooting.
Review: Great More code needed though
