The Story of Easter Paperback – Picture Book, January 13, 2012

THIS IS A STORY OF EASTER AND JESUS (GOD)COMING AMONG US AND WHY WE CELEBRATE EASTER.I WOULD BUY IT AGAIN.

I ordered this book prior to Easter to read to my 21 month old son. While he doesn't understand the complex concepts yet, he does like the book and wants me to read it to him over and over again. I'm glad to be able to introduce this topic to him at a young age and my hope is that as he gets older he will begin to understand what the story is about. The ideal age for this book is probably a bit older because it's not as engaging as most books geared towards young toddlers are. My son loves books and will sit and listen to almost any story, but I don't recommend it if you have a young toddler with a short attention span. I do think the author does a great job of explaining a very complex story in simple words so a young child can understand.

A CHILD CAN GRASP THE TRUE MEANING OF EASTER

Used this book last year with my one year old. I love it!! It really tells the gospel story in a way that way to follow and the pictures are great.

This may not be the exact “bible story” of Easter but it gives a 4 year old an idea of Easter and Jesus. One of my granddaughter’s go-to books.

Such a sweet book, puts the Easter story into context at the level of under 3. Loved reading it to my girls.

This is a cute way to present the story for little ones. I like that the book is sturdy so that my baby can’t completely destroy it!
