Accurate - Intuitive Operation - Bright and Sensitive LCD Display - Lifetime Map Updates
I never would have believed that an non-name brand GPS would have been very good or even accurate until now. I've owned GPS and NAVI devices long before they became popular or were installed in cars and trucks. I also have a NAVI System in my company truck and have dozens of vehicles over the years with built-in NAVI systems so I am pretty familiar with what's out there.Recently I started having to use rental cars in my work travels and wanted not to have to shell out the extra money for using their GPS or learn how to use different systems in the different cars. When I saw this NAVI System with a 7" Touchscreen for under $60 I thought I would give it a try knowing I could return it I was not happy with it.Turns out, this is a pretty decent NAVI System especially given the price. The unit comes with a suction cup mount, car charger, and a micro-USB cable. (No case is included. When I first turned it on I was greeted by a dozen plus icons for all the options it has with everything from a music player, picture viewer, unit converter, calculator, and a whole it more. The screen was bright, clear, and responsive. When I clicked the NAVI option it was asking me to "Set Path" which was a little confusing at first, but once I clicked thru and set it to the NAVI exe. file path the NAVI system was up and running. The unit found the satellites and showed my location very quickly. From there it was easy to just show my location or choose my destination. Diving deeper into the menu I could change route options and more. Note: This device also lets you choose and save user profiles which will save your individual preferences.I've only taken a few trips with this unit before we were shut down from travel (due to COVID-19) but this NAVI system outperformed the NAVI system in my 2019 truck. Very impressive. The literature says this system comes with free NAVI system and updates for life, I've not tried any updates yet. Once I have used this NAVI system a little more and tried the update I will update this review.

huge, easy to read screen, simple to operate
The Hieha 7" GPS was a very pleasant surprise when I first received it. I have always bought Magellan GPS's which are expensive but easy to use. I tried Magellan units twice recently but had to send the units back as they were defective. I was contemplating spending 200 – $300 for a Garmin GPS when I came across this Hieha unit.I had a little trouble setting the navigation path but once I reset the unit there was only one navigation path to follow which I assume is the current 2020 map program. This GPS is totally intuitive and extremely easy to use with huge screens and a great 3D rendering. In fact it is so clear and easy-to-read one can use visual guidance alone while driving, reducing the need for the spoken directions. In fact, that is my only negative, in that the speaker is on the back of the unit and at full volume is still a little hard to hear unless all the windows are up and the radio is off. the speaker would be much better on the bottom front area, but perhaps that might result in a smaller screen. The operation of this unit it is intuitive and simple. I was in Arizona and wanted to put into the memory a hotel in Portland, Oregon. This was much easier to accomplish on this unit than any other unit I have used in the past. The unit also is full of points of interest and it takes only seconds to bring up each category. Testing it for my home area it really included all of the important businesses under each category. The database appears to be quite up-to-date which is nice because often when you buy a unit the first thing you have to do is to update the software or the maps. This unit comes with lifetime updates and term has a different meaning with each manufacturer. For my Magellan's it was "lifetime" of the model which is barely 3 years and then they do not support that model any longer. Since the Hieha provides a website through which you can download map updates I am hoping lifetime is a little longer.Frankly considering the great screen, graphics, and ease-of-use I do not know how this company produces such a unit in the 60 – $70 range. From what I can see it's as good as the $200/300 models from Magellan, Garmin, or TomTom.Also, customer service answers your queries through Amazon the next morning and even offers email contact directly with the consumer. This is fantastic customer service which is critically important with electronic devices. In short I'm very happy with this purchase.

All in one GPS
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I’ve had one other GPS before and this one is easily way better. It’s basically a tablet that has a GPS in it which makes it really unique. You can download music and use it as a music device for your car, use GPS, download videos, and even play the pre-downloaded games on it. It works smoothly and was easy to install. It also tells you if you’re going over the speed limit, which helps you a ton, to prevent getting speeding tickets. I will definitely use this for my upcoming road trips.

Garmin far superior
This product was OK, but it comes with very little instructions, nor can a person do better online, with trying to find out more about this device. What instructions you get are printed so small, you can hardly find anything out about it. You are able to obtain updates for the maps, but only with wired connection, and, with little support or instruction, that too is difficult. The Garmin has wifi connection for updates that are very simple. After using this device briefly, I simply didn't think it was for me... and I returned it in favor of my Garmin, and I am very glad I did.

keeps freezing up!
It will work for a while [20-30 min] and then screen will freeze up. screen too touchy to set up. you can NOT enter your mode of travel as an RV...only car or semi truck....if semi truck you will be subject to truck speed and scale's warnings and dot drive times, that will drive you crazy...so this thing is junk if you want it for rv use, even if you get one that doesn't freeze up!
