Great taste that is unlike anything
I grew up with it - so I am enjoying it for half a century personally- truth be told - it’s either you hate it or you love it- there’s practically no in between! I LOVE IT.

Nice product, definitely an acquired taste.
I was turned on to vegemite by an Australian friend and loved it from the first bite (but I happen to like salty foods, so that aspect doesn’t bother me). It’s been a staple in our home ever since. My daughter tried to like it, but was immediately turned off by it since she went a little too heavy on it her first try so that bad first impression stuck with her— she has tried it a few times since, still isn’t a fan We recently ran out of vegemite. I came to order more and saw maramite on the list of results. Having friends in areas that maramite is the preferred condiment, I decided to try some of it as well. Shipping was very fast. Ordered both the vegemite and maramite at the same time. The maramite arrived today, the vegemite isn’t expected to be here for a couple more days. I noticed the expiration date nearly a year away. My first impression (though as I mentioned, coming from someone who regularly eats vegemite), I like it. I wasn’t expecting a “really thick syrup” consistency—I’m used to the paste consistency of vegemite. I felt like it was a bit harder to spread evenly on the toast. The flavor was definitely milder than vegemite (might be a good thing to offer my daughter, see if the milder flavor is more to her liking). Still a very satisfying salty goodness on hot buttered toast.

An essential
You either love or hate marmite and I’m one of the former. I always have some available. I find a bit of marmite on bread or toast dissipates a craving for something sweet

Wierd, salty snack that's worth a try.
As advertised, but gawd almighty, it's so salty! I spread it thin on a piece of toast as advised and each bite was like eating teaspoon of pure salt. Yuck. I bought it for the advertised B vitimin, but I'm going to have to research other ways to eat this goo. Goo is what it is, brown, syrupy paste that runs like mollases and is just as sticky. It's an acquired taste fer shur. I'm a southern gent who can eat most anything, so I'm not throwing it out. I'll probably use it on dishes which need a bit of salty seasoning (with caution) and a bit of extra vitamins involved too. I'd say you get your money's worth here because a tiny bit goes a long way. The quality seems to be good, you shouldn't have to worry about spoilage with the high amount of sodium content. Just shop this page and get your lowest price. There are a lot of outlets at different prices and several manufacturers, so price is the main driver here. Marmite is one of several products sold by Australia, but the products sold here primarily come from England and Ireland. I have no problem with that. I only ordered because I was ready to try this unusual item from down under. You should feel free to try it for yourself also.

Tastes great on toast!
Marmite is an acquired taste and I appreciate if you’ve not grown up with it, can seem strange on the palette. It has a salty taste and should NOT to be spread like peanut butter on toast or bread but thinly and can accompany other spreads like peanut butter, salty/sweet combo. Great for adding depth to stews and gravies. Will last a long time. Those I know who like it, stock up !!

Well there are very few words to describe Marmite the best would definitely be "yum yum". This product is so versatile that it is hard to list the uses for Marmite. So therefore it can only be said obtain a jar and play with the food inside. It makes so many thingy taste better simply as Marmite on toast, or spread over cheese just before toasting it, and being used in sauces, gravies and an extremely wide range of other ideas. It is not possible to fined a negative side to this product at the present time.
