Used 28 oz of water for coffee to make two cup in the morning. During the day make tea - several different teas. Enjoyed the temperature control. Like the 'keep warm' setting. I boil water at least three times a day and it is getting a lot of use. Recommend.

Let me just start with saying this is not my first review for this product. My first unit failed and I was disappointed. I was very satisfied though with how they stood behind their product and made sure I was satisfied. I love this tea infuser. The temp settings are very accurate and I love being able to hear and steep tea all at once in one easy to use container. The taste is great too because tea tastes better when brewed at the proper temp. This tea infuser is easily a great value for the money and I highly recommend it. If your worried about buying from a known brand name like I am, just know this supplier will help you if anything goes wrong. They are diligent.

I was very excited to get this, especially with all the positive reviews. After the very first use there was rust forming on the inside of the pitcher. I got it all cleaned out and tried, but it has come back every single time. It's really unfortunate because it heats up quite fast, it's easy to use, and gets to the temps it says..but who wants to scrub all that out after each use? And even when it's not been used for a while the rust still comes back.I have to downgrade this even further. This product has become unusable, even with careful cleaning and care. The rust on the inside doesn't go away at all and if I have just the water going without the tea I can see it changing the color to kind of a brown/orange.

Best investment ever if your looking to purchase an electric kettle. Easy to use. Fast heating time. Variable temp makes this pot so very easy to use and takes the guess work out of brew times for different type of tea. If it has any draw backs I would have to say it would be cleaning. The base of the pot can not be submerged in water but the majority of the electric kettles on the market today feature the same draw back. I give it a 5 star rating all the way. From the time you pull the box out of the shipping carton to the taste of that first sip, this kettle screams quality on every level. More the comparable to electric kettles costing considerably more. If you happen to be one of those individuals who possesses more brains than money this electric kettle will be just what your looking for. If not my empathy goes out to you and happy hunting.

I brew a lot of tea and was sick of always watching the stove. This allows temperature controlled brewing for up to 2 hours(on "keep warm setting"). Perfect for ginger teas or any long brews like herbal medicine that need to brew for hours everyday. I also like that it had a clean look and has a sturdy bottom and no gimmicky knobs that might fall off. I gave 4 stars for the "easy to clean" just because its kind of heavy and i wish the top lid was easier to open to get my hand in for cleaning but over all im very happy. I recommend to any daily tea or coffee drinkers. I don't like complicated machines that require maintenance and this is perfect. It also feels like it will last a long time. My parents have had this for years now and it's still really great.

First, this product does make good tea (only reason I’m keeping it). The problem is in the ease of use. It would be MUCH more convenient if the loose leaf holder could easily drop in and pull out. The way it is now, I have to risk burns by ‘unscrewing’ the basket from the lid while it is still hot. Also, the basket is not easy to get all the wet leaves out of. And, if you only want less than 5 cups, the tea basket is too high above the water. The carafe looks nice, but the electronics are on the bottom so you can NOT immerse the container in water to clean! But the thing that really aggravates me, is the ‘keep warm’ function only lasts five minutes!!!!! I might not be ready for a second cup in that time, but have to go into the kitchen and keep hitting the ‘keep warm’ button every five minutes!

I have allergies and hot tea seems to ease some of the discomfort. This tea pot lets me pick the type of tea I feel like at the moment and adjusts the temperature to fit the tea. Once I got the tea pot I started looking up videos to see how to make the best pot of tea and the temperature options on this device are perfect. When I have the family over for dinner (we can go thru a LOT of tea) this bad boy is quick and makes a great tea. I am picky about my tea and once it starts to turn.... yuck. Fresh tea leaves, not bags, are the best and the good tea flavor lasts longer. My adult kids keep eyeing the pot, guess what they are getting for Christmas. Does not take up much room on the counter, easy to clean with a wide mouth, the bottom of the pot did turn brown and I wish I could get that out (it is just my OCD, doesn't affect the taste of the tea). I just love it and recommend.

Fast boil as promised unlike some other electric kettles I tested out. Love the wide mouth: makes it very easy to clean.Design can be improved if the infuser was drop in from the top with a basket handle As it is right now (attachable to the bottom of the lid) it is difficult to remove after steeping time without tools because the lid and infuser get too hot to handle wih bare hands.
