this is not an easy tool to use.
Like most tire plugs they are very hard to push into a tire with bands it them, I had to put 1 in my AT tire and man was it hard to do, getting the plug to push through was the biggest pain, I had to use a rubber mallet to help push it in. Once it's in it seals the hole with no problems at all. The spike on the tip does help but not as easy as I was wanting it to. I will not go anywhere without this kit in my truck it is a life saver.

Works pretty darn good. Would definitely recommend to others.
This tool was extremely easy to use. Arrived with a pack of additional plugs along with 3 already pre-loaded inside of the tool itself. After plugging the tire, I filled it back with air and rode around for a few minutes. When I got back, my tire pressure was 1-2 psi lower. Using some soap and water, I found that there was still a slight leak. I didn't want to have to insert a second plug, so I decided to just let it sit and checked pressure again it the morning. Today I stepped into garage and found that it had dropped from 38 psi to around 29. I figured, okay... it's a pretty slow leak and I've ridden home before with a leak that was far worse. Filled my air to a little under 38 psi and rode into work (roughly 45 minute ride). Checked the air pressure and it was hovering at 40 psi. This was good news to me since it showed that the leak was either so small that it didn't make much of an impact or perhaps the small leaks corrected themselves overnight once the sticky compound on the plugs have settled itself in.I just checked my air pressure again (been about 2 hours) and it was at around 37 psi (tire is cold now). So overall, I'd say that this tool was successful at sealing the puncture, and although it didn't seal it 100%, it would be more than enough to get you back home in the event of an emergency. Will update again when I get home today after work.PROS---------Small and lightweight toolWell builtEasy to use (fixed my flat in less than 5 minutes)Can use up to 4 plugs in a single punctureCONS---------Might not seal the hole 100%, although you can use up to 4 plugs in the same punctureSealing material is a tad small in diameter, which is probably why it might not seal the leak completelyUPDATE 07/22/2015I plugged the tire this past Sunday and it looks like the leak has gotten worse. My air pressure is much lower by the end of the day compared to Monday. As it turns out though, the problem is not with the tool, but instead due to the fact that I had stopped short of finishing the job. The screw that punctured my tire was a tad smaller than the diameter of a single plug. This is why there was a very slight leak. I decided today to redo the fix which required me to push the 1st plug through completely. The reason being is because I had already trimmed the tail end of the 1st plug, which means I no longer had anything to hold onto as I put in the 2nd plug. This is okay however because Dynaplug customer service notified me that the brass tip is self lubricating and non-abrasive. After applying the new plug, again I noticed that there was a slight leak. I then held the tail end of the plug as I pushed in a 2nd one. As soon as I pulled the tool out, the sound of leaking air immediately stopped. I applied soap and water and found ZERO leaks. Road the bike to a nearby gas station and put my tire back to 40 psi (it was sitting at 30 psi). Rode back to the office and again, applied soap and water to make sure that there are no leaks before I trimmed the tails off. So far, so good! I should have done this from the get go as it would have saved me a bit of headache with having to constantly refill air the last 2 days. Due to this new found knowledge of how to properly apply the plugs, I'm changing my rating to a solid 5 stars. Thanks Dynaplug!UPDATE 07/23/2015Looks like it was a success! Still no leaks and tire pressure was exactly what it was the day before. Would highly recommend this tool!

Nice Tool But Plugs Are Small
I work around construction sites and it is easy to occasionally puncture a tire on carelessly dropped nail or screw. The good news is that there is usually an air compressor on site, so if you have an air chuck and a puncture kit it is a straight forward fix. I have had a couple of those cheapo kits that you buy at the local auto store for plugging punctures. The ones with the fat gooey strings and the flimsy installation tools that don't seem to stand up to the job. I wanted a better tool and maybe even a better system, so after reviewing a few videos I settled on the Dynaplug Pro kit with extra installation tips that you can pre-load with plugs along with the nice storage pouch to keep it all together. I did not opt for the compact air pump or CO2 fill options. The "good" is that the tool is nice quality. The in-handle storage is great for keeping the various bits handy. The big flat top gives plenty of bearing surface to shove the ream or the plugs into the tire, and they work just like they do on the video. Plunge the tool in, pull it back out and the plug stays behind in the tire. Their video's recommend testing the repair using a little water to look for bubbles and adding additional plugs into the same repair if necessary. I put in three plugs, still leaking. Four, then five, ...still leaking. It seemed like each plug just squished up the ones already installed so that each time the leak was in a slightly different place. I even had one leak open up between two of the previously installed plugs. I finally shoved the Dynaplugs through and used my old cheapo kit with fat gooey strings to plug the puncture. That worked even though using those tools is always a bit of a struggle. Five stars for the quality of the kit, the ease of use, the well thought out system. One star off because it will only work well if your puncture is quite small, which they usually are. Still, I won't leave my cheapo kit behind and just carry this one because it failed me, and I don't want to carry two, so... One other very minor complaint: changing the tips on the tool requires removing the screw-on collar completely. A quick-change design would be convenient and I don't think it would be too difficult to engineer, especially considering that the manufacturer suggests that you might have to put two or three plugs into one puncture. That is a lot of screwing and unscrewing the collar and lots of opportunities to drop either the tip or the collar into the mud or snow in the process.

Eventually worked but took 3 plugs
Picked up a nail over the rainy weekend and ordered this flat kit as it seemed easiest to use without having to remove the tire. The process looked easy enough, but it proved difficult to push in the brass tip through the puncture. Wasn’t a small nail either and I made sure to push in the same direction as the nail came out. Ended up taking three plugs to stop the leak after finally getting the first one in. The last two were relatively easier to get in. I do like the concept of this plug kit but having to use three plugs to stop a normal sized leak seems excessive. Especially considering how much another set of plugs is going to cost on top of an already pricey tool.

Quality made, but NO VALVE STEM TOOL?
This is a quality product, well made, but I have a major issue with this given the fact that it does NOT contain a simple valve stem tool. Seriously? Considering returning it as a result.

It works and super easy
As soon as my kit was delivered i used it. I had already watched enough YouTube videos to know how the kit works. It took longer to find the screw and valve stem than it did to plug the tire. Seems to have worked with just one plug. I used soapy water to determine it’s not leaking.Going to let it sit for a couple hours with tire pumped back up to 41 lbs. I’ll update this review if I have any problems later. At this point, no road test or longevity test yet, I recommend this to all fellow bikers. I ride an Indian Roadmaster.

A must have for that long journey
Fantastic bit of kit for that unknown emergency, it does what you want it to do. I would recommend this product a little expensive but saves waiting for breakdown truck on the side of the road

This superior tyre repair kit does a permanent repair saving your tyre for its full life
Yep, this is an easy side of the road repair kit that is permanent. Carry some compressed air tiny cylinders and you can do a compete side of the road permanent repair faster than you change the tyre to the spare. You would not need the spare in most cases (a torn or slashed tyre is of course beyond the scope of this repair kit so you would still need a spare tyre for this unlikely but possible type of tyre damage).

High quality product.
A quality built tool for emergency roadside fixes. The kit contains everything needed for multiple flat repairs. Compact design and is easily stored in your vehicle. Aluminum is lighter than the stainless steel option, but appears very strong.
