WenTop 5m Alexa LED Strip Lights with Remote, Wi-Fi Smart App Control, Music Sync and Color Changing, LED Lights for Bedroom, TV, Home, Works with Google Assistant

Just a quick review to hopefully help someone, the lights are fine they are what they are, however the 2 x 5m pack comes with a single power pack. Now it is split so you can run 2 separate strips of 5m each but they must start from the power pack.I bought the set to split them up into different rooms to go behind the kids televisions and to add a little bit of extra light. But this cannot be done as there’s only one power supply, no biggie as they cost buttons and I’ve already ordered another single 5m set but just thought I would put a little review to help anyone who may want 2 separate sets.

In the picture it says works with alexa but doesn't go into further detail in the product description so I bought with the assumption you would be able to say "alexa lights ON/OFF" and they would turn on or off. But they don't which was a bit of a disappointment (they just meant you can turn it on or off on the alexa app) but besides that they work well and the app is really good and well made and they connect to Wifi super easy. One thing is I wish they had some sticky pads on the back of the control box however they did come with sticky clips which were useful. I would definitely recommend them if you want quality cheap lights but if you want something that works with alexa properly I would pay the £5 extra for another set of lights.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  This is my first time using this product and It certainly won't be the last!I've installed more sets of led lights than I care to mention but I must say that for the price these are up there in terms of quality and functionality with lights three times their price.I've used these lights in my garden fitted into LED light channel fixtures,. Split into five 1 meter strips they give out enough light to fill my garden with colour.The attached waterproof controller is simple but effective. It's only once you install the LED control application to your phone/tablet ect that the real power behind this kit is unleashed, with plenty of presets and the ability to create your own custom light shows you can create exactly what works for you.The built in microphone on the control box turns this product into a set of disco lights with several preset light shows in this single feature alone.For smart home enthusiasts the ability to control these lights with your smart speaker is a bonus, I use Amazon products and the ability to tell Alexa to turn on my garden lights without having to leave my house is a very handy feature, as is the ability to schedule turning on and off the lights to suit my needs.The LED light on my garden CCTV is at best a little lacking in luminosity output, a simple command to Alexa and any potential intruders are lit up light a Christmas tree.I will be buying more of these lights that goes without saying. They are good quality, easy to use and work with and simple to install and configure.

These lights look great! They’re bright at 100% but you can dim them on the app and with Alexa. I literally fixed them around my 50” tv and they wrapped around 1 3/4 times which was perfect. I downloaded the app and it automatically connected to the lights, then it connected to Alexa in the Alexa app. Took maybe 10 mins in all. I love that you can change the colours, set up your own colours or colour scheme. You can change the speed of the colour switch on the app and you can get it to sync with your music playing. I loved these so much I bought another set for my other tv.

Brought 3 sets of these for my kids bedrooms. Arrived same day, unfortunately one set was faulty but returned them got an instant refund and ordered a new set (great service Amazon). Slightly disappointing they only work on 2.4ghz Wi-Fi as I only have 5ghz but got round this by re-enabling the 2.4ghz band on my old router. Easy to install, adhesive is really good. Remote works great, not the easiest to set up in the app. Install showed as failed but had installed ok, was then able to enable skill on Alexa very easily and had the lights turning on and off in no time. Alexa functionality is limited and you can’t enable moving in time to music and most of the functionality without the app which is a shame, on, off, dim and basic colours are supported. Some work on the skill is needed but probably won’t happen. Still get 5 stars as for under £10 they are a great little set of lights and the kids love them.

Works very well and easy to install.Easily set up with Alexa using the instructions provided.Only fault is that I cannot change between the modes like flash, strobe, smooth using Alexa. Only on the remote.For the price, cannot complain. Looks great.

I fixed these onto my ottoman bed so I can see more clearly after lifting the frame. After a week of having these installed the adhesive already started to loosen. Shortly after about half way through the circuit these lights were unresponsive to the colour I wanted, constantly giving green. I opted for motion lights instead which work better

I wanted to love these as I have used this brand for lights in the house before. However, this particular set is broken. The orange/ red lights don’t work. I thought it was an issue with the control so I downloaded the app… they still don’t work. I can get blue, pink and green but no orange or yellow tones. There is also one light that is stuck on pink and won’t change colour. I cannot use them as I would have to keep them on pink the entire time and that’s not why I bought them.
