Very good guitar for this price
This guitar is quite nice and comes beautifully set up; playing it is a breeze, even if you are visiting the top of the neck. I haven’t tried the pickups yet but unplugged it’s a great sounding guitar that rivals more expensive models. It was almost perfectly in tune out of the box and has pretty much stayed that way. No fret buzzing anywhere, nothing to complain about so far. This one’s a keeper.

Good while it lasted
My Martin 000-X2E guitar was good for 10 months before it broke. The high E string became muted/dead and 3 cracks developed in the spruce top. I contacted Martin and they said it was likely a humidity issue and it was not covered by warranty. Funny thing is that I have 2 other guitars (Fender and Takamine) and all were kept together in my humidified office. Ive never had a problem with my other 2 guitars. Now I have a 10 month old Martin guitar that doesn't work. To make matters worse, Martin customer service doesnt care one bit. Do yourself a favor and do not buy this guitar.

Great Guitar
My first guitar , don't know much about guitars but this one is amazing ! , I'm trying to learn on-line and on my own , this guitar has great sound and not too hard to play , great buy for me , I'll post later reviews after I get better at playing it , maybe I should have started with a less expensive one but I do not regret buying this one omg! what an amazing piece of work from Martin , awesome ! thank you Martin !

Martin doing good things
This guitar is perfect. Does everything well. You wont find something better in the price range. I was initially worried about the laminate sides but its hardly noticeable and sounds perfect. But Martin doesn't make bad instruments, and if you're up in the air, go with this one. You wont regret it.

Neck is unplayable after humidity changes the HPL is not ready
Maybe I got a lemon, guitar can't handle any changes in humidity, developed awful fret sprout 6 months in and neck needs constant adjustment of truss rod, (I have 30 or so guitars none of them have this issue). my advice steer clear the HPL is not ready for prime instrument not worthy of the Martin name.

Sounds great!
Guitar sounds great! Comfortable to hold and play. Sounds like a more expensive guitar.
