Sledgehammer to not quite crack the nut
The shape of the bracket is perfect - an external corner bracket to screw to facia boards at right angles to one another, leaving a plane at 45° to secure a PTZ camera to, so that it can see a full 270° without being obfuscated by building features. It is very heavy and sturdy, with a good paint finish, and would support serious camera gear with telephoto or long zoom lenses without any wind shake (other than of course that intrinsic to the camera). However, there are a couple of points to consider before forking out for this quite pricey piece of metal:* A selection of holes exist, some tapped, suiting I am sure a good majority of cameras - but not mine. I drilled some new holes and secured my camera to the bracket with self tappers (could easily have drilled clearance and used nuts-and-bolts) - but the bracket could be universal with a little forethought - two slots at 45° at the top, and floating bosses at the bottom eg.* Despite the adequate hole to post the multi-function cable through, the end of this umbilical that has the network, power, sometimes audi and reset switch ends still need a home, with at least one join (power or PoE) - and possibly several others. For a bracket as pricey as this, they missed a trick here - a simple plate could have been included giving rain protection for the void behind the camera plate, without impeding either camera operation or bracket fixing. In my case I provided for all this inside the building eaves - but in general this would be an excellent refinement.,Given that this bracket has solid bends to form the camera mounting face, and that it is fixed to two right angled fascia boards, I would suggest a thinner gauge material would be more than adequate for most installations, the strength being provided by the ribbing.

Incredible value
Extremely heavy duty & much larger than I was expecting, which was a blessing. As other have mentioned, slotted cut outs would be better as the holes did not match up for my camera & I had to drill my own, no big deal. This could possibly lead to rusting though?

Would be a great universal product if advice is acted upon
It is well made etc. No real thought has gone into the random pre drilled holes !Your product is of good quality but it could be of true value Instead of various holes for screws that only sertain camera brackets fit? Would of been greatly improved if tracks or slots where used as would be compatible with 90% of brackets . I drilled my own but not everyone can do this. Designed and made well but no use if screws on camera brackets don't marry up. This is positive feed back ok so you can improve it and sell more .
