The overall quality of the product is what you should expect based on the very good value of this cup.I would recommend it for flow testing and QC control.... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Testing viscosity the way Isaac Newton did *by R***E on July 7, 2021* This tool is an old school method of measuring viscosity. It’s based off of Isaac Newton’s law of viscosity. This is a manual way to do it. Though I think this is a little pricey, it’s a cheaper option than spending $400+ on a digital viscometer.The quality seems good. It’s made of nice, solid materials like brass and aluminum for the cups. The stand is very secure. This has a built in level, a ruler for measuring, and also a stopper/latch that holds in the solution on the top (brass) cup. After filling the brass cup, you just move the latch over while simultaneously starting a timer to run the test.We had a hard time figuring out the chart and how to actually get the correct reading from timing out the test.
