great mic, great price
I'm very happy with the Mackie microphone. It has very good gain and is built very well. It came with a mic holder that fit's properly and a mic cord, so for the price it is a great value. I'm only using it for speech, but the talker comes though very clear. I have no doubt that it would work very well for a singer as well.

Great Mic for a low price
I’ve been using Shure SM48’s & SM58’s for years for my DJ business. But I have a Mackie FXPro mixer, 3 different sets of Mackie speakers, Mackie in ear headphones, and various other Mackie gear, so I thought I’d try this mic out. So far, no complaints. It’s a very clear microphone. I’ve been using it as my main Karaoke mic for the last week. Honestly I might like it more than the SM58’s but I’ll need more testing to be sure. Comes with a sleek carrying pouch, a mic stand adapter, and a decent XLR cable. Another home run for Mackie as far as I’m concerned. My only complaint would be the design.. it sorta looks like a cheap RadioShack mic, but it feels nice in the hand & sounds great.

Great vocal microphone
I call football games and was looking for a microphone for clear vocals and a little better handling the wind. This did the trick. Very clear vocals at all gain adjustments. Comes with a case and XLR cord. I love Mackie products and this did not disappoint.

Disappointed: Great Brand, But Mic Sensitivity Dropped Drastically After Months!
I bought this microphone expecting high-quality performance since it comes from a reputable brand. For the first few months, it worked like a charm and the sound clarity was amazing. However, out of nowhere, the sound pickup became extremely weak. Now, I literally have to put my mouth right against the microphone for it to register any sound or voice. I’ve checked all my software settings, volume gains, and cables, but the issue persists. It is incredibly frustrating to experience such a drastic drop in sensitivity from a well-known brand after only a short period of use. Unless this is a specific manufacturing defect in my unit, I cannot recommend it for long-term reliability

Beatboxers.
Hi, beatboxer here. This microphone slaps, I use it as a bass mic for my throat bass/vibration bass, it sounds good and does exactly what I need it to do, the quality isn't the highest, but for what its worth, it does fantastic. It's easy to setup, since if you're buying this, I expect you to already have a XLR microphone amp already wired and ready to use, but if not I recommend just getting something around 40 - 100 if you're on a budge with high, mid or low frequence volume equalizers. You can hear my voice pretty clear from afar as well, unlike the Shure SM58 (my main microphone which you have to almost have directly to your mouth just to hear me). At super high volumes, it can cause some unwanted noise here and there, but honestly... we're spitting instruments from our mouths left and right so yeah haha. Overall great budget microphone I have been using for a while now, 100% recommend for BBXers on a budget or just starting

Excellent starter mics
Got 2 of these mics to use for recording some videos. The recording quality is excellent and build quality seems very high with it's all metal body. I'm using an M-Audio M-Track Duo to record and it seems to be working very well. Outside of the recording interface these come with everything you need including a very long good quality XLR cable. They do however seem like they would make poor handheld mics as they have bad handling noise, but if you intend to use them with a mic stand then these are fantastic. They also seem rather forgiving with positioning for if you move around a lot. Very happy with these.
