DiyOilPaintings Paintworks Paint By Number 16"x16", Golden Osmanthus Tree and Rabbits

I was very excited to receive this kit, as this was my first paint by number on canvas. It arrived quickly, in good condition. Assembling the frame and stretching the canvas was easy, however I used staples (staple gun) instead of the thumb tack that comes with the kit. Most of the numbers on the canvas are pretty dark, my suggestion is to use the white paint in the kit to paint over the numbers BEFORE you start painting. Especially for the lighter shades. (Don't worry they'll still be visible). This will save you lots of time, so you don't have to paint over it again and again. Speaking of paint, some of them were pretty dried out and hard. (I put some water in it, a little at a time, and kept mixing it until it softened up and all the lumps were gone). The one bummer thing about this very adorable painting is that it's not exactly as shown. The tree and rabbits look like the photo, but the grass is waaaay off, which is why I gave this a three rating. The different shades of green are horrendous. Not the harmonious look in the photo, but a mismatch of whatever green paint they had in stock. I'll probably try to mix some of the paint and attempt to fix it, as the other reviewer had done. Wish me luck!

this is my 3rd painting that I have completed from this seller, ( I have bought 4 so far) and they are so beautiful. So much better that you get a craft stores, I mean how many kitties hanging from tress can 1 person do. LOL. This kits are true to size, and color. and the discriptions from the seller are right on. ANd if you have any issues the customer service is SUPER. I will buy more from this seller. Keep getting new paitings. and THANK YOU.

The colors were very different than what is shown. The leaves looked like Halloween. They were so orange and black. They gave a wrong number for the highest patch of grass. I changed the colors to look better, but couldn't get it as nice as the original. I won't buy Diy painting in the future even though I love their subjects.
