SNA411P1 Men's Pilot Watch Alarm Chronograph 100m WR SNA411

I am a pilot who has been flying for over 44 years. 40 of those years as a military pilot. My first Aviator watch was given to me by my parents when I graduated from pilot school in 1979, and that watch lasted me 30 years. I have since bought two other Seiko Aviator watches, and love them. I replaced #2 with my latest Seiko only because I wanted to try a different model, and it works brilliantly! Nothing beats a Seiko! It’s built like a tank, and takes all the abuse of flying and traveling. Very happy and pleased!

The SNA411 is no longer produced by Seiko and it's quite a shame actually because it's one of the most iconic watches they ever sold.I sat on the fence for quite some time regarding this one, the original price for it when it was new was around 200$ IIRC so obviously the price crept up since it's out of production. I'm not sorry O bought it as I find it very interesting to wear and use and it looks very nice on my thin wrist when fitted with an MTN "Erika Original" wrist band.

As a private pilot, I bought the watch so that I could use it for some computations while flying. The face of the watch looks good, but is challenging to read. It is much smaller than I expected, and it seems to have a magnifying crystal to assist in reading the watch. The crystal can have some deformity when trying to read around the outer part of the watch face if you aren't looking at it square on. It is, however, a good watch for the money.

My Chase-Durer pilot's watch died and the cost to fix it would have been more than the cost of this excellent watch. I'm a watch nut, so when I say this is a serious watch, I mean it.

Great quality watch. The slide rule function will take quite some time to learn. Beautiful watch, the band is good but could be more robust. Domed crystal is very cool. I love the watch!

Great watch, easy to use, picture does not do it justice, great looking watch. A must have for pilots or anyone who needs to calculate speeds.
