This bird is beautiful, it almost looks real ,it stands nice and tail. I love it. What I don't like is... the bird came in an perfect size box for the size of the bird but, the tail of the bird came broken, Now I have two choices, either go by Glue or either go return it ,both places are far from me in two other cities. The luau party is Thursday. maybe I'll let the grandchildren enjoy it. both places are far to return or to go get glue. Tnx

Wore the pirate parrot to pirate night on a Disney cruise and it added a lot to the costume. But there are some things to know. First, attaching the parrot to your shoulder using the provided strings just isn't going to work. If you stand still, maybe. I used double-sided velcro that worked great. Second, the parrot is large. Good size for fun but it is going to take up your shoulder. Third, it is hard. Not a plush toy. Still, for a one-time event it is great fun.

The parrot lost the tail feathers within a day a the eyeball fell off within a couple days. It was cheap so I got what I paid for. The color and style do look good but I wish the construction was better

I got a fake parrot and eye patches for a friend who had eye surgery. Yes, he has a great sense of humor. (Hi eye is ok). He put them on right away. The parrot stays up and has real feathers. They are all cheap and clearly costume quality. But awesome.

For the money this is amazing. My son had an alphabet play at school where he was a Pesky Pirate with a Pet Parrot. This thing was awesome and a total showstopper with his kindergarten class. Perfect for a costume, play or prop. My son did have it completely torn apart by the end of the day, however, he’s 6 and I wasn’t looking for something sturdy. I wanted something super cheap and bought this knowing that would happen. It did it’s job and looked damn good doing it. If you are looking for something that’s going to last, bump up your price point people.

The tail arrived broken off. That is sticker not a googly eye and the poor creature is molting with all its bare featherless bits. My expectations were not high but for ten bucks it could have at least came with those feathers so I could attach them.

It was perfect for a child’s Halloween costume. He wanted a bird on his shoulder.

It was great! It stayed well on my shoulder and I don’t have very big shoulders. Lots of people complimented me on it.
