I have some experience with fixing iPhones so I am not a good gauge for installingAs far as the product, the battery has lasted me TWO FULL DAYS on a single charge. I use my phone very extensively for work and personal use and typically only get 3/4 a day on a full chargeWould recommend

Love the battery, it's a new battery so you do have to bend the connector to fit it properly but that would make sense, it works perfectly, battery health is listed, rating vs actual is measured with my jailbroken phone and it's all perfect. I use my phone about 4-5 hours a day and probably for another 3 hours at night before I fall asleep and I get down to ~10% every day. I used to have to charge my phone twice daily.

Just as detailed. Easy install. Only reason I didn’t give it a 5 star is because they do not include the waterproof gasket so be ready to get it on your own if you pick this battery for your X..compability 100% like a normal Apple battery.

Make no mistake, the battery is just as great as advertised, and by itself, I would give it 5 stars. It holds it's charge significantly better than the original (especially after degeneration) and is, in my opinion, definitely worth it if you aren't ready/interested in upgrading just yet.However, this is a review based on the entire kit itself, to which I have problems. Besides the battery, it comes with a screwdriver with 3 heads, a spudger, tweezers, adhesive strips, a suction cup and a plastic pick. My biggest issue is with the last two.The suction cup requires you to use one hand to pull, while the other hand uses the pick to slide in between the screen and the base. This is a very awkward process, as I had to find a way to hold the phone, use my thumb to pull up, and use the other hand to slide the pick. The adhesive wasn't budging, either. I used a hair dryer as suggested in the manual, but it didn't really help. I had to pull so hard that I almost tore through the suction cup. Eventually I got through with the pick, but the adhesive was so strong that it literally started chipping away at the pick as I slid it through. Same for the old battery adhesive. Again I used the hair dryer as suggested, but it got hot enough to the point that I was worried the old battery would explode or would do damage. So not perfect, but decent enough to get the job done.And this is a minor nitpick, but I've also seen kits that have an adhesive replacement for the base to screen that you tear through, but this kit does not have that. Frankly, I don't think it needs it, as it stays securely locked after pushing down into it, but it would have been nice to have, considering that adhesive helps with water resistance.All in all, if you're interested in buying this battery replacement, I highly recommend buying a better kit for opening up the phone. Especially if you are new to this.

Battery came well packaged and seems to be well made. Size is identical to the original and it fit well within the phone and connector. Tools were sufficient to do the job however I do wish they included a magnetic screw mat to keep track of all the tiny screws you need to remove and reassemble, and a new screen adhesive gasket which I had to buy separately.My old battery stopped charging so in the beginning of the install, I unplugged the old one and seated this battery in sandwiched between the old battery and screen to make sure it can charge (it did). Then I proceeded to remove the parts and battery (I used the ifixit battery replacement guide, it is very detailed with high resolution pics of each step). The entire project (including charging mid way with the phone open) took roughly 2-3 hours. I was careful and took extra time, but this can probably be done in about an hour if you know what you're doing and skip the charge.So far 2 weeks in this battery seems to be working well and lasts noticeably longer than my spent 3yo original battery. At the end of the day my phone still has juice which is the most you can really ask for.

My only gripe with this product is that they "could" have included the gasket to seal the iPhone back to its' original water resistance. This product does not come with the gasket so do yourself a favor and order the gasket at the same time. The install is easy as long as you take your time. If the old battery doesn't come out easily (it's easy to tear the glue strips) just use an old credit card to pry it out - slowly. I also recommend cleaning out the old gasket completely using a tiny flat head screwdriver and some acetone. Make sure you get it all out or there could be problems getting the new gasket to adhere correctly. If you choose to forgo the gasket (no more water protection), getting the gasket out is not as important.

Really impressed so far. Battery fit perfectly in my 3-year old iPhone X. I was having to charge multiple times daily. Battery health back up to 100% now (was 85% and getting warnings from the phone). I jave replaced a lot of iPhone batteries with aftermarkets like this in the past, and more often than not end up disappointed. We will see if this holds its good initial performance, but so far it's great

Listen I like working on detailed things so if you are all thumbs and don’t know what a screwdriver is, don’t try this. But this is honestly very basic stuff so if you’re patient, don’t quit once you start, take a break if you freak out, come back, pray, ask Him to help you, then just keep at it, you’ll get this. And you’ll learn some stuff.
