Fits and seems durable
The recliner I got from Bob's Discount is a good chair except for the cheap pull handle that broke after a year. I bought this to replace the broken one and was simple to install with two screws out fit the cable to pop the legs up and screw back in. Mechanism seems much smoother than the original and seems much more sturdy.Time will tell but so far I am extremely happy with the purchase.

Fit perfectly!
My husband. Oh my husband!! He LOVES his open patio recliner which is old, stained and has HIS impression depressed on it where he sits! The handle broke and I desperately wanted to buy him a beautiful new one but NOOOO!! The handle broke, it was plastic, so I found this one so he’d stop trying to fix it! To mine and his surprise it’s metal!!! He’s 71 and has “pokey” fingers and can’t fix ANYTHING! The new installation of this handle literally took him 2 minutes which was AMAZING! It’s metal, beautiful and easy to install. If my husband could install it, anyone can!! Get it!!

Great replacement for broken recliner handles
My couch had plastic handles for the recliner, one of which broke where the cable was held. Replacement was easy, only 2 screws and this part is metal instead of the cheap plastic used by the couch manufacturer. My recliner works great and I don't have to worry about this one breaking.

Far superior to the factory plastic handle
I bought a used recliner with a broken reclining mechanism. It turns out that the factory plastic release mechanism was cracked, allowing the plastic to flex, rather than pulling the release cable. This metal one is solid, and pulls the cable with a very satisfying feel, and a delightful "clunk" when it springs back into place.

Perfect replacement for the money
Purchased this new handle to replace the cheap plastic factory installed handle and couldn't be more happy with it's functionality and ease to install.
