STANADYNE DIESEL LUBRICITY FORMULA - 64 OZ.

I went with this product because of a story I heard. Back around the time of the 1st Gulf War, the US Army found they were damaging the engines on many of their diesel vehicles (including HUMVEEs) because they were using jet fuel. So they comissioned Stanadyne to develop a way to fix this. Not only did they create a lubricant to protect the Army's vehicles, it has worked phenomenally well, causing the Army to only have to haul one type of fuel (JP-8) for all their vehicles. And I have heard Stanadyne is used in Airport vehicles today to allow them to run on jet fuel at the airports.I mixed about 2 oz, with a half dose of another performance/lubricant, and I swear I've boosted my mpg by a 1mpg. I'm still testing it, but so far I am very impressed with this stuff.

Use every tank fill. Haven't compared gas mileage.I use this based off of research and peace of mind.

In cummins common rail injection systems (03 - present dodge ram 2500 and up) this stuff is manditory to at the very least fill up your fuel filter housing with it every time you change a fuel filter. Diesel injectors will stick open it just depends on when... moving parts stick and then cause permanemt damage. Run this stuff regularly to prevent any lack of lubrication ... this is one of the most lubricating additives around .... I have 300k on a cummins that i pull 4 cars with and have run 8oz of this every 5 tanks or so. Original injectors and no problems. Trust me whether you feel the difference or not in the long run this makes a difference and may even get stuck injectors moving again.

I first heard about this on the weekly NW Auto Show on our local AM radio station, where the host recommends this for diesel engines. I have an older 1984, 300D diesel Mercedes with a mechanical fuel injector system and use this to keep it lubricated and, I think, increase the Cetane for faster starting. I have used this for years and helps replace the Sulphur that was once in diesel fuel. You add a small amount to your fuel tank prior to each fill up.I occasionally use a product called , "Diesel Purge", to clean my injectors and was very impressed how much better my diesel started. This are the only two additives that I use on my diesel Mercedes with over 200,000 miles and starts and runs great.

After being in the transportation industry over 20 years, I can tell you, ULSD is junk, pure and simple. Reduced lubricity, reduced cetane, reduced life.I'll give you the same advice I give customers. A lot of other additives emulsify water, if you have a water separator, use it, if you use additives, I'd bet you don't need to drain it often, this is not a coincedence, your additives are emulsifying water and passing it through your injectors.This additive will slick up your fuel without taking water for a ride. Use it regularly and you'll hear the difference and you'll also protect your equipment.
