Perfect fit
I am very happy with this. My RV just turned 10 years old last month. With age some things start failing. My unit in the RV was a Jensen and some features were giving out. I Googled the model part number and this unit showed up as compatible replacement. I'm very excited about the fact that all I had to do was unscrew the old unit and plug the exact plugs into the new unit and reinstall it into the same hole. No rewiring needed to be done and no cabinet adjustments needed.. 15 minutes time to do. And it is a PERFECT FIT looks great just like factory work

Black is Positive, White is ground
I just can't give up on my 25 year old fifth wheel. Everyone I know with newer trailers have them in the shop too often. That being said, I am always looking to upgrade this 1997 Road Ranger. The Audiovox with cassette deck was wore out. I replaced it with this model of Jensen after doing my research. I found that this stereo had the functions that I wanted ( CD, USB, AUX, Multi-zone, remote, and Bluetooth). Before ordering I found that this stereo matched the dimensions of the cut out, and was highly rated on all the independent websites I could find. The leaning experience I had was that the black wire in my trailer is positive and the white is ground. I found this out through the sacrifice of the fuse. I would suggest looking at the back of your old stereo for any label that explains the wiring, or if you are lucky the wires themselves may be labeled. The wires on the Jensen are easy to follow. I used wire nuts to connect all the wires, however I may redo it and go with butt end connectors. Stereo works as it should, although I have not tried the app as it has poor ratings.

The same model with no improvements
Our old Jensen JWM60 was having issues with the on/off button taking very long presses to work, so this was a no brainer "bolt in" replacement as the plugs in back are the same. What miffed me was in this modern day and age, my 64 GB USB Thumb Drive does not work with this new model. Now I would figure a 2008 model might have issue with bigger USB drives as the old one could not read the larger size. But not a new 2024 model, very lame. But the new device turns on and off Ok with just one touch on the button now, and seems to function well in all other regards, and the sound seems better and not as flat.A 32 GB drive works fine though.

Works good
Fit well in the old hole. Takes some time to splice every wire in. Wired were labeled good. Has worked well for several months.

No wiring diagram included
Without the wiring diagram I was able to make an educated guess to all the wires however it is nice to be reassured with a diagram. Quickly found one online and all was good.I was replacing a 15 year old Jenson that died and this is the only thing that would fill the 6 x 9 opening. If only the mounting screw holes would have matched with the old one, it would have been great.Ultimately it works great and is relatively easy for this 69 year old to operate. Some of the best camping is where there is no TV signal and no Cell reception. Nice to have a radio to fill the silence.

DVD Player stopped working after minimal use.
I bought the JMW62A to replace the older Jensen that suddenly stopped working in our RV. The Bluetooth works fine however the DVD player stopped working after the warranty period expired. In that year we probably used the DVD player 5-6 times while camping. I wrote ASA electronics, as they're the ones that handle this Jensen product and was told sorry, no fix and no warranty replacement Although I could purchase another unit. How about no thanks.Don't buy this unit.

Good unit but missing an Antenna, Mounting Screws and User Manual
I bought the JWM62A to replace an 11-year-old Jensen AWM970 in my trailer. Both have the same dimensions so I could use the same cut out however the wiring harnesses are different. Luckily, all wires coming from the JWM62A are clearly labeled, so I could splice my existing trailer speaker wires to the JWM62A harness using butt-end connectors. I have read that newer Jensen units have the same wire harness as this unit so if you have a newer unit it should be easy to plug and play without having to splice wires to the JWM62A harness. To mount this unit you need to pry off the two thin plastic side trim plates to access the mounting screw holes (mounting screws not included). See photos.Pros: Bluetooth connectivity; you can adjust the brightness of the display -even turn it off; Jensen app so you can run this unit from a smartphone.Cons: No user manual or install directions (I did find one by searching online but it is not included with the unit), no radio antenna is included and no radio reception without one (my trailer had a coax cable connection for the antenna so I did have to purchase a separate universal wire antenna for $7), the buttons are cheap and do not "feel" quality. The buttons all work, but as other reviews have commented, the unit feels cheaply made. Everything works on mine as advertised just thought for the $200-250 price higher quality parts would be used.
