First downpour, success!!! Dry.
Just got this today! And then the skies opened and it poured rain! What's a guy to do. I know, test the frog toggs! I ordered the 2XL for me as I plan on wearing this over my clothing and I wanted it baggy. Something I could pull on quickly when I'm out driving my jeep and it starts to rain. I have no top for my jeep... These run pretty huge. I am 5'11" and 250lbs and I"m swimming in the 2XL. That's ok. There's room to breath and it'll go on over my jeans or whatever I'm wearing. As for the downpour, I was outside for 5 minutes until the lightening forced me back inside. No leaks and the baggy pants helped cover my shoe tops to keep water out of my socks. Shoes are waterproof.... The only downfall to these are no pockets. I was outside and standing in the rain I wanted to put my hands in pockets to keep them out of the rain too and there were none. So I just pulled my hands inside the sleeves. Not practical but ok. Pockets just risk a leak I suppose and absolute waterproofness to me was the most important thing. The hood was huge also. It does have cords to help cinch it down tight and there's room for you to pull your head back into the hood a little so you stay drier. Nice. This material feels like Gore-Tex covered in fibers that give it a reusable grocery bag kind of feel. I'll see how durable they are jumping in and out of the jeep.

Great value - great for a first or rarely used waterproof shell
I fish in Alaska every year or two and needed something more waterproof than a cheap pair of waterproof pants and a standard rain coat…. So I purchased these. The material is not “comfy” per se but it certainly works. They worked very well from a water resistance standpoint and cleaned easily. The only issue I had was the lack of pockets on the pants …. So I had to constantly access the pockets in my pants I wore underneath them. That said, it allowed for better waterproofing. Overall I was very satisfied for the price and would buy these again in a different color.

Great rain suit for the money!
Purchased the XXL , set with green jacket and black pants. Unbelievably light weight, and seemingly durable. Size is a big for XXL, I would have gotten the XL, but I wanted to be sure to be able to wear over clothes. I tested out the jacket in the rain the other day, definitely keeps me dry. Another note, there are no pockets on pants or jacket, but it wasn't a deal breaker for me. The set is an incredible deal money wise.

Good for but not great for heavy rain
Light, breathable, and looks good, but only stops about 80% of a good rain. Needs further waterproofing for heavy stuff. Great as a wind breaker though. Can also see this being great material for a motorcycle because the rain would be bloated off before it gets all the way through

Will Keep you Dry
Frogg Toggs work really well to keep you dry in some nasty environments. This set works really well. I keep it with my outdoor gear just incase I am outside and it starts to rain out of nowhere and I cant get inside. This set seems to be made better than the cheap set of Frogg Toggs I had that tore to shreds while wearing in Kansas a few years back. This pair seems to have a little thicker and heavier duty material. So far working well and have held up really well. Would buy again.

Super light, true to size. Not waterproof!!!!!
These were a gift for my dad. He is nervous because they are so light that they aren’t going to be waterproof. I told him the next time he goes fishing and it rains to let me know 😂 then I will update and let you guys know how they work!Update: They in fact did not work 😩 he went fishing for the day and came home soaked. Water went straight through to his underclothes. Would not recommend.

amazingly good rain suit
I bought this as a cheap rain suit to throw on the boat. We went to a boating rendezvous on Lake Erie and docked at Port Clinton and a storm came up. I dug the suit out and put it on. The storm grew to near hurricane proportions. Waves came across route 2 - a 4 lane highway - and closed it. I was out trying to keep the boats from busting loose in the storm. Water was about 1 1/2 feet over the docks. Our dock lines kept pulling the cleats out of the docks and planks off the docks the wind was so bad. Finally a dock on the next row broke loose with about 20 boats, all larger than 40 feet, attached and proceeded up the river. I was out all night until dawn trying to keep the boats on our dock safe. 70 plus mph winds and huge storm surge and heavy rain all night. The next morning when the storm let up, the only part of me that was wet was below the knee where I had been standing in the water. Absolutely amazing suit which I had thought was cheap paper when I bought it. I would go anywhere with this thing.

Seems Waterproof
I haven't worn this outfit in rainy weather yet. I hope they live up to their reputation. The material is much stiffer than I would have liked and probably made me pass on it had I bought it in person. The material is also very wrinkled and washing didn't release the wrinkles.

Frogg Toggs All Sport Rain Suit Rocks!
This is easily the best rain suit I've had in years. I've tried, without any success, to get a rain suit that was comfortable enough to walk long distances in and yet still waterproof. After a few leaky competitors I finally tried what has to be one of the best rain suits there is. This suit traps just enough heat that I'm comfortable in cool days with a light sweater and shorts. This is not an industrial rain suit so I wouldn't recommend it for people working outside, but for hikers, walkers, etc. it's perfect. I'd like it much better if it had pockets. So far, I've walked about 160 km in this suit and it has done its job and held up well.

Wow!
Very surprised how well this works. Kept me dry as a bone. When I got them I didn’t think they would last 20 minutes but I’m very happy with how it’s working on a construction site.
