After searching for alarm clock and having several less than stellar experieces, I finally found one that I really like.The layout of controls is awesome. The dial to set time, set alarm, and snooze is awesome. Quick to adjust time and alarm time. The single button to turn on and off the alarm is really nice. I like the fact that it is two different heights for on and off. I think one of the features that really suprised me is the button to turn on and off blue tooth in the back. One of the things that really bothered me on other units is that it was always pairing and beeping. I don't listen to my phone often in the room, but it is nice to have the ability when I need it. Turning off bluetooth allows me to have the best of both worlds.Postives:1. Control layout2. Ascending volume for alarm3. USB Charger that works well4. Bluetooth (with switch to turn off and on)Only two negatives for the clock.1. It would be nice to have the usb ports on the back rather than the front2. It would be nice to have another dim level of the clock between dimmest level and the next level.Overall really happy with the clock.

This is a great clock! I appreciate being able to change the brightness of the clock face and how uncluttered it is, as well as how small it is. It's really cleared up space on my bedside table. Only issues I've had is the bluetooth got stuck once (I'd turn it off and it would still flash as if looking to be synced but wouldn't sync with anything. I ended up just holding the bluetooth button and that fixed it) and when the electricity went out a few days after receiving it I found out that the flock face turns off unless you tap the big button on the top to turn the light on again. While hardly the worst it was a little frustrating when I was trying to figure out how long the electricity was out and I'd ended up reaching over everything just to see what time it is, even with fresh batteries that had never been used.

2 stars from me for the following reasons:Single alarm only. I was looking for a dual alarm - I got confused because it came up in my search for dual alarm clock because it has "dual" usb charging. My bad, but dual alarm would make this much better.Speaker not very loud. Reason I wanted a bluetooth clock was to play ambient noise iPhone app (Rain,Rain) through the speaker. I had been using my portable BT speaker for this before - playing through the HomTime was not loud enough to drown out my snores and allow my girlfriend to sleep in peace.Loud beeping when charging phones. I may have been able to suffer through the above complaints, but returned the clock because of this one. On multiple occasions, after plugging in a phone to charge while I slept, we'd be awoken by a loud beeping noise that coincided with the blinking of USB charge indicator. Thought this might be to indicate the phone was fully charged, but would trigger before phone was fully charged. Unplugging the phone seemed to be the only way to shut it off, but since I was half asleep every time it happened I didn't dig deep.

The product description was somewhat misleading when I bought this at Christmas time 2015. I thought that the micro SD card allowed for selection of play and wake-up to anything on the card. Not true. The card will hold many songs, however if the SD card is selected for the alarm, it will play something random from the card. I contacted the company via Amazon messaging to verify this. They were very prompt with a reply and very apologetic about the unintended misleading of their wording in their description. I was disappointed by my purchase, but my children are happy with it. It is definitely a step up for them from their digital alarm clocks we bought for them 8 years ago.

I purchased two of these clocks for my guest bedrooms. Guests always need to charge their phones at night, and this clock has 2 USB ports right on the front which makes it great so people do not have to hunt around for an outlet. I like the compact/simple design of this clock along with the ease of setting the time. The display is very bright but can be dimmed by simply tapping the top button on the clock. Some people have complained about the white vs. blue LED's, but I'm fine with the white. I have not tried the bluetooth streaming on this (probably will not....not relevant for me).

I needed an alarm clock but this one is so much more. With the 2 USB ports, I can charge my phone and tablet. There's a built in bluetooth speaker for listening to music. But the biggest surprise to me was the built-in thermometer so I can know the temperature of my room instantly. It is light and compact. I can eadily pack it in my suitcase for travel. I just don't understand the negative reviews -- especially the one about the brightness. The dim setting does not disturb my sleep and I have extremely sensitive eyes. I highly recommend this clock.

Bought this because I wanted to play my own alarm music. Doesn't seem like it should be so difficult to find an alarm clock that does this without using a cell phone or Bluetooth. I don't want to sleep with my cell phone in the bedroom. Turns out the selection is extremely limited. Thought this would be perfect, but it won't sound the alarm using music from a micro SD card that I specifically bought for this unit. Now I have a 64G SD that I probably won't use for anything else. The default alarm isn't terrible, but if this feature is broken out of the box I don't have much confidence it'll last long. Other reviewers had longevity issues as well. Made in China? Shocking. Shame on me. Back it goes.

This is a great clock, I'm finding the brightness settings to be just perfect - off when you don't want any display, low is very dark so you can't read it in daylight but you can read it during the middle of the night without it lighting up the entire bedroom like many clocks do, medium I can see just fine during the day, maximum brightness would be useful if you have sunlight streaming into the room and want to still be able to see the time.Super easy to set the time and a nice compact clock.

I was looking for something simple, something that would not tax my tired mind at either end of the day and have to say that this simple, small and basic alarm is the perfect tool for the job. The display is really good, three setting including off if you like real dark, so easy to set both time and alarm are set using the rotary wheel on top, Micro SD so that you can wake up to your own choice of music or animal sounds or whatever you fancy AND it starts really quietly so no rude awakening!!, speakers not too shabby either, music sound fine and useful for listening to audio books in bed,and it tells you the temperature, haven't found that much use but at least I am prepared for the shock I suppose, Yes it also has a battery back up so all in all I cant find anything that I would change and would happily recommend it

Very easy to set up and I love the fact that it frees up a plug socket so that my mobile can charge overnight. The dimming function is good and it is a good compact size

Great little alarm clock, can charge both my iPad and phone and it has bluetooth to play music! Brilliant for the price

Makes a high pitched whining while using the USB charger.Bluetooth function/button unresponsive.Rotary button feels poorly finished.It's a shame, because it's a nice looking unit.
