Best toothbrush
Eco-dent Terradent line of toothbrushes are the best because besides being a good product they are very green. You don't dispose of the whole toothbrush. You just throw away the bristle head. Got to love this concept!!!Do they work? Yes. They are well built and sturdy enough to last. They do their job at teeth cleaning. The handle is thin and long so you can reach those back teeth and also maneuver the brush around the mouth and teeth easily.

I loved the concept so I purchased one a while back
I loved the concept so I purchased one a while back, I love it. I'm about to replace the head after a year of use. I'm so happy not to have to throw away a whole toothbrush this time or ever again.. One thing though. If the company would consider a line of aluminum or stainless steal handles that would be awesome. id totally invest in a metal one.

Best toothbrush ever
This toothbrush is very sturdy, comfortable to use, and best of all it makes you feel good because you know you are not adding a ton of unrecyclable plastic toothbrushes to the landfills/ocean pollution every time you have to change your brush. You just pop the head out and insert a new nylon head, still a bit of plastic but much, much less.

The replacement heads are no longer available... No longer an ecological choice.
I have loved my Ecodent toothbrush for nearly 20 years, because I only need to discard and replace the small bristle head, not the whole plastic handle. NOW the replacement heads are only available if you buy a new handle... I hope Ecodent makes a wiser choice, soon because you are likely to lose out to totally biodegradable brushes, which I see as the next ecological choice. Please reconsider.Brigid

REFILLS NOT AVAILABLE - ANYWHERE!
this is a great toothbrush and a great idea... it's a shame the supposedly conscientious company has chosen to not sell the refill heads separately -nullifying the whole point. - so you get 1 toothbrush and 2 heads. that's it. when the 2nd head is spent you have to buy another toothbrush; and for $7.50, you're not doing so well moneywise - and not helping the environment much more than any other toothbrush. . . . they had a "children's" brush (terradent #23) that, besides being good for kids was excellent for people who've retained their wisdom teeth because the head was smaller & would fit behind the back teeth where there is little room. i used one for years, replacing the heads fairly often -since their were less bristles so they'd wear out faster. easily worth it. then those heads became unavailable. there is no acceptable excuse for this. raising the price would've been acceptable.so i got the "adult" (#31). a year or 2 ago vitacost had the refill packs (3 heads/pack) and i think i bought one, soft, along with the handle, which came with 2 (medium, so i could compare) if i'd known they'd pull this crap i would've bought 10-15 refill packs because now vitacost doesn't have them...but i can't find them elsewhere on the web either; so i assume it's eco dent that's screwing everyone over. (folks who've bought the terradent 31,especially - and everyone else on this planet)again - raising the price would've been acceptable. discontinuing the refill packs - or, more likely they've discontinued the whole line and these are just the end of the stock...NO EXCUSE!i will never use any product by this formerly respectable but now corrupted company. (unless of course they bring these or comparable products back again)

Ultimate Toothbrush
Why keep throwing away all that in recyclable plastic? This toothbrush only requires a new head. Simple, fast and eco friendly. What's not to love?
