Great saw
Overall great product! Cuts as should, heavy and well made.

Must have for small welding business.
Another fantastic product. I have cut 1/4 inch with ease, be sure to set your depth so your teeth on the blade stick out completely. If the teeth don’t stick out past the bottom of the material it will cut like crap and won’t clean out. My second go to tool. First one is the evolution metal miter box.

Incredible saw
So I read through the reviews and thought people were being a little over the top with their reviews. That ended up not being the case, this saw cuts fantastic, if you can run a circular saw for wood you can run this saw through metal. It shows pictures of people cutting square tubing but it didn’t do very well through that in my opinion, chop saw is much better rated for that application. I cut up a 5’x10’ sheet of 3/8” steel plate like I knife through butter. The saw is very loud and throws metal chips everywhere so I recommend and face shield and ear plugs, rolling magnet makes clean up easy. When buying a replacement blade make sure to buy the 20mm bore blade that is the goofy size it takes. Great saw wish blades were a little cheaper.

Metal cutter
Bought this to cut roof tin to size and after the first cut was made perfectly straight and little to no sparks cut thru several sheets at a time was by far worth the cost and will soon buy the miter saw for cutting metal as well . Highly recommend these tools

For the price, I would buy it again. Build a simple crosscut jig to get square cuts.
I have been using this to build an OHV tent trailer, and it has been very useful. Most of my cutting involves square tubes up to 2x2 inches with a 1/4-inch thickness. I found that it doesn’t cut very square when used freehand, but I easily fixed this by building a simple cross-cut jig. The jig not only ensures square cuts but also makes repetitive cuts fast and easy.I would have given it 5 stars if the included blade had lasted longer. I’m considering building a jig to sharpen the old blade for future use alongside the replacement blade I purchased.

Works great
I used the 7.25 version for a couple years, but finally burned it up. Im not blaming it at all, i cut a ton with it, including 1.25" solid steel plate. I finally ordered the 8.25, and was real happy with it. The new chip shield/ collector reduced the amount of chips that hit you by a lot, i only had a few burn me. Also the light a shadow line are a nice addition. I opened it and immediately ripped around 50 linear feet of 1/4" steel with zero issues. If you run a fab shop, this os definitely a time saver, and gives a clean finish. Just a heads up, it is extremely loud. I usually work with noise canceling earbuds, so it doesnt bother me.

Died after 8 minutes
Was excited to give this a try over using a grinder. Made it 4 feet through 3/16 steel plate and started blowing smoke. Let it cool down and tried again, it made it 2 inches and died completely. Fairly terrible product. $20/minute for the use I got out of it.
