Using it as a gate driver for 600A IGBT
I'm using this as a gate driver for a 600A IGBT, and it's running it fine up to the limit of my function generator (150kHz). I was previously running the IGBT straight from the function generator, and at just 1kHz the rise time was looking pretty crummy. Hoping this is a cheaper alternative to buying larger fans (faster rise time, less loss, less heat generated).Feeding a 10% duty cycle square wave on input 1 would give a 90% duty cycle output, reversed for some reason.Feeding a 10% duty cycle square wave on input 2 would give a 10% duty cycle output as expected.

do not drive with opto-isolator, rise & fall times way to slow, burns it up.
See headline. unusable with slow opto's in path, overheats very quickly. With nanosecond rise and fall signals, probably ok.

Great board when used properly!
Should be noted that what ever input is not being used should be connected to ground or else it will stay 100% on when signal generator is turned off.The input duty cycle is inverted for IN1 and IN2 unless you are using both inputs(then you need to adjust the phase between channels to align "foward" and "reverse" signals.

Great motor driver
No problem driving 3A 24V motor with programmed acceleration, deceleration, and brake. Also works with DC logic (i.e. manual switches) if current spikes are acceptable during start, stop, FW and REV rotation.

Cant seem to get it to work.
I tried a few things but cant seem to get it to work. Could really use a diagram showing proper setup. The diagram provided does not show motor hookup or what the enable jumper does. no real explanation for it either. I can get 100% power with the enable jumper on, nothing with it off , using pwm and or +5 and 0v to the ini1 and ini2 pins.could really use a working example.

I really like this board, use it to drive large IGBT's for an induction heater
When designing the driver for my induction heater, i needed to turn a logic level signal into a signal powerful enough to turn on a large IGBT's gate. The IC on this board can handle up to 300khz and produces a clean square wave at the output.

Needed To Adjust
Great base board, this driver chip is very good! I added heat sinking and changed FETS to something more appropriate. Running 300KHz easily.
