6-Volt Super Heavy Duty, Lantern Battery - 6 Pack

These batteries out did my expectations. Long lasting and reliable for the price!

because of the g-kids we go through a lot of 6 volt batteries. these batteries seem to last as long as the name brand but at a great price. we have 6 volt flashlights around the house, shop and barn. so this 6 pack was great for us. opps we ran out of AA batteries one night. so what did i do, i took one of these 6 volts, opened it up and there are a butt load of AA batteries. that is what 6 volts are powered by AA batteries. so these 6 volt batteries are duel use. the AA's have lasted as long or longer than the name brand that i use. for me a great product.

Excellent lantern batteries. Longevity and shelf life of these batteries is still to be determined.The only problem so far is that one of the batteries had a cracked outer casing upon delivery.This apparently was due to some harsh shipping/handling since the box it was shipped in had gougemarks on one side. Despite the damage, the battery still worked fine.

I use these batteries for BIG flashlights, for camping etc...but these flashlights are also lanterns and emergency flashers and have many settings. It's important that they function when you need them, and these batteries keep my flashlights ready to go at all times !

This product is a rip off. They are NOT heavy duty lantern batteries as it is a flimsy case with 4 cheap D cell flashlight batterries in series inside. The kind you get in a dollar store 4 for a dollar. I discovered this when the top fell off one of the batteries. I put two in a lantern to test them and it lasted less than 1/5 the time of regular lantern batteies. Waste of money. Amazon should be ashamed to sell this lousy product. Its false advertising

Seem good, ran my game feeder all season long and is still going. I'd buy them again for sure.Update: All of the batteries that I stored for a year were dead even though the expiration date wasn't for 2 more years. Unless you need all 6 at once, I'd skip this one.

Out of the six pack, all batteries were above 6.3v. I have purchased 6 volt lantern batteries from Duracell that were not above 6 volts and useless.

I want to be fair here. You get what you pay for. The first thing I noticed was each single battery weighs much less than an energizer brand I had on the shelf. I bought this 6 pack to use in my moultrie deer feeder after reading some reviews that one battery lasted the whole season. Well the season in south carolina is 3.5 months. Maybe that's the difference. Anywhoo, I put up 2 feeders Oct 1st. One with this battery and the other with an energizer rechargeable. Each feeder is set to go off at 430am for 3secs and 6pm for 15 secs. I checked the feeder with this battery yesterday and I wish I had brought another battery. I'll have to try to get back out there today or tomorrow to put in another battery. Not saying good or bad. Just ok. Perhaps my expectations were too high. I just ordered two solar chargers for two existing rechargeables I have on hand. These batteries are lead free which was a draw for me. However, as with most environmentally friendly products you get something and you give something up. In this case you get a lead free battery. You give up endurance and have to buy more batteries=more landfill. Should have bought a rechargeable sooner.

Bought it to replace MN 908 Duracell lantern (6V, 13 AH) batteries. Because of the very small shipment box, all 6 batteries arrived with cracked (plastic) tops. Still, they all worked, and at this price, which is a third of what a Duracell would have cost me, a major bargain. Happy.

Works well so far will suit me needs.

received my order of these 6 CellMax 6-volt lantern batteries on the day as promised (i recently subscribed for the Amazon Prime). tested all 6 batteries with my digital multimeter, all are above 6.00 volts. i have two lanterns which required new batteries; lanterns lit up like new. will then see how long the batteries last, both in storage (wrapped in the clear shrink-wrap), and when in use with the lanterns. for the price, this set of 6 batteries probably won't beat any single 6-volt battery sold in major stores.

These batteries didn't last very long at all. Wouldn't order again.
