Only lasts for 7 months
Purchased 7 months ago and it has stopped working already. Will only open the garage, will not close the garage door anymore. Thank goodness I bought a 2 pack and my husband doesn't use his.Edit 9/25The issue ended up being the garage door circuit board needing replacement, not an issue with the opener itself. However, it was really difficult to reprogram the opener this goaround. We finally got it but it's set to the small middle button, instead of the big button.

Works Perfectly!
Works perfectly! Photo shows the pair of new ones on left, plus an original Crafsman, and a LiftMaster, that will all be used between car visors and indoors. Very important when you press the "learn" button on the garage console that you don't hold it down too long - that clears the settings from any existing remotes. So if you are adding additional as I did, take all your remotes to the console at the same time, press the learn button quickly & test them one at a time - and then test any you set up prior, before you go onto the next. This also applies to the keypad remote as well, because when I held the button too long I cleared the setting from that one also. As long as you pay attention to this important detail when adding to existing, setup is a breeze and they will work perfectly. A great value!

The instructions useless. Garage door opener should be easy to program.I watched the youtube video link sent by you. and that akso was useless. wasted an hour twice to program it.Finally had to call the garage door company and they tto had a hard time to program it, but finally we got it to work. The product is good but the instruction are not at all right.

Instructions are a tad confusing but they work great
I just received these things (thank god -- man, you really do notice when they're not working) and they work great. The package came with two remotes, two visor clips, and two small hooks for for your key chain. It also came with a small set of instructions and a q-code to view installation videos and have a live chat. The included instructions were incomplete in my mind -- they told you how to enter programming mode on the remote, how to cycle through the colours you want to program against (Yellow, Purple, Red, Green), and then how to lock in your choice. But it never told you how to synch it up to the garage door opener. So I scanned the q-code and selected the video for my model, only to find that the video was targeted toward a different model. Not deterred, I searched the web and was able to program the remote using the following steps:1. Open your Craftsman door opener and press the program button. It doesn't seem to matter the colour as I'll explain later on.2. While the programming light is on, press the button on the remote you want to program. I pressed the big one. Right away, the lightbulb on the garage door opener flashed -- but it didn't go off.3. Now the important part -- if your garage door opener has a yellow button, press the button you programmed once. If it has a purple button, press the button twice. If a red button, three times. And if a green button, four times.4. Once you press it the appropriate number of times, the garage door lightbulb flashes and turns off. After this happened to me, I tested the remote and it worked. I didn't put the remote into programming mode before pushing the buttons. This worked for me. I hope it works for you.
