Great for bird baths and koi pond
These work great. I have bought several. Out in full sun, they last around a year. They come with different tops, so you can pick the amount of water and the way it comes out. Great for bird baths, etc.

New Improved Solar panel!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Great Quality. These come with a larger solar panel than others and even functions on cloudy days.

panel needs to be in bright sun at all times to work, partial shade makes it useless
Barely works for what I need it for, which is fine. Deceptive advertising. Three times to four times smaller than what it appears to be. Cannot use attachments because the power is so weak. The attachments neutralize any benefit or any flow. Videos and pictures show water flow of a much larger pump. Given the price point, I'm not too disappointed. And rather than overkill, underkill is OK, I guess, for the birdbath situation. But I don't recommend it for ponds, water features, or anything that requires a heavier flow and a more robust pump. Given the attachments provided, it's just a waste of plastic. Don't bother ordering this item unless you upgrade to a bigger one. Solar panel is really small. It looks large in the picture.

Stopped working after 5 hours -- Can I give this NO STARS?
I was really excited to get this.I built a water fountain for visiting hummingbirds. I have the solar panel placed where it gets unobstructed sun all day long. No shade.I bought this one because it had the most ratings of four and a half stars by over 3,000 reviews. Normally I read them so that I can get a perspective of the worst and the best and then make up my own mind. But I didn't do that as thoroughly as I normally do for such a small purchase. I just went by the amount of ratings that were provided. When I first set this up it was working consistently. The pump seemed powerful and was making the water shoot up almost too high, so I opted to use the bigger sprinkler head to try to limit the height of the showers. The water was shooting up about 6-8 in" with consistent pressure and water. The pump was submerged in about 2 gallons of water. Inside the 2 gallon bucket is a2 liter bottle and inside that bottle is where the pump was situated. This fountain is very well constructed. I used a vinyl hose the same diameter as the pump and sprinkler head. When the morning came, I looked out at the bird bath again and it was cycling between a very low drizzle for about 5 seconds then a short burst of water into the expected operating sprinkler shower, then back to a drizzle for about about 5 seconds again.I checked the water level and it was still full and the pump was still completely submerged. There is an upper tray with small holes in it that caught a couple of pedals from some flowers but nothing made it into the bucket where the pump was situated (Plus the pump sits inside a separate container with holes in it and is very protected against any debris.)Just to be thorough, I unplugged the pump, and changed all the water. Set it back up again and plugged the pump into the solar panel. The pump is still failing to maintain a constant pressure and the drizzling persisted. If you put your finger over the sprinkler head for a second it creates a back pressure that allows the pump to operate as expected. This tells me that the pump is not providing enough push (while the solar panel is in direct sunlight) to allow it to operate as expected. The pump has failed. How can I give this no stars?

Only one I've tried but good enough I bought 2 more
I like the power but for my bird baths, I have two bird baths like this https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0D36P14FR/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 which are both fairly big, and the fountain using the included jet attachments is to powerful even for my large bath. The splashing water loses too much and it would not last a day saw I took my drill and drilled through the holes to make them bigger, had to keep trying till I was surprised at how large I had to drill them as this thing is that powerful. There are alternative, the power diminishes significantly if you cover any of the solar cell so I could have just put some water proof tape on the cell to reduce the height of the jets but I like fine tuning the output pressure to my own baths. Anyway, I've had one for over a year but I broke the connector the other day and bought a third just after I set up the second bath. I keep a sponge close by and wipe it down every few days or sooner if needed, the pump needs wiped down also, to keep the bath free of algae, dirt and debris and you should not use anything but water to clean it. Birds are old dinosaurs and are sensitive to chemicals. A bird bath is a lot easier to keep clean, fresh water everyday and regular cleaning will keep healthy birds coming back. Very beneficial and less messy than feeding birds, which may not be a good idea anyways, but fresh water is always needed and welcome.
