They don't snap because there's no elastic, and you can tie it round as many times as you like, so you get a good tight hold on the hair.Also because of the stretch they don't leave marks or hurt when you have them on your wrist.It's like stretchy legging material, honestly perfect for bobbles!Also the Royal blue colour is just gorgeous.
