Stanley Classic Vacuum Travel Press 16oz Hammertone Green

This travel mug is as awesome as you think it is. I've used it every day for the past 2 weeks, most of which have been on the road flying around the world.- First off, it keeps coffee hot for every bit of 4 hours. Probably 5 hours if I let it go that long. I actually have to let it sit with the top off for 20 minutes just so it will cool off enough for me to enjoy it.- Most importantly for a travel mug, it does not leak. It has very good quality silicone seals. The lid screws on securely and is just the right amount of turns so that its not annoying to keep unscrewing the lid every time you want to drink. I prefer these types of mugs over the push button type because they seal better and have better flow when drinking. Granted, one handed use would be nice in some situations, but this is a pretty kick butt mug.- Now for the coolest part. If you're going to spend $20-$30 on a travel mug, why not get one with the option of being a french press? It holds 16 oz. of coffee with the press in. Take out the press, use it as a standard travel mug that will probably hold close to 18 oz. The functionality of the press is top notch. The screen is very fine mesh (even finer/better than my brand name french press at home). I have noticed that when I put a lot of grounds in it for stronger coffee, the press can be hard to push down, even allowing some coffee to leak up through the outer seal of the press. This is a small issue that doesn't affect the coffee and I have yet to drink any grounds.This is a high quality mug that is half the price of a Yeti, won't leak, has the option of being a french press, and keeps coffee hot for hours. It certainly is worth 5 stars.

I use this french press almost every day. It has spoiled me on hot tea because it just tastes better! You can tell the travel mug will hold up over time because it is made from quality materials and I trust anything with the Stanley name. I choose to hand wash mine, but it is dishwasher safe and easy to use.There are days when I'll make tea or coffee in the morning and by the time I get home my beverage is still warm. This mug is also extremely leak proof. I held it upside down and shook it just to be sure. Not a drop. I love the clip, also. It makes it easy to clip the mug to my backpack when I go hiking so I can enjoy my hot beverage in nature.The screen in the actual press is very fine so you don't have to worry about leaves or grains getting into your coffee or tea.*Tip: to keep your drink hotter for longer, fill the mug up with hot water while you're heating up your brewing water. The preheating really helps.

This is the answer I have been looking for. I want rich coffee, but camping and traveling make it a challenge to have good coffee. Both percolated and instant coffee are barely okay. Glass french presses make excellent coffee, but they are delicate and don't pack very well. The Stanley is the answer. It is rugged and packs well. This mug is excellent quality and just can't get damaged. There is a reason Stanley backs their products with a lifetime warranty.It also keeps the coffee hot for hours. I was a little worried that the coffee would turn foul with the coffee grinds remaining pressed at the bottom of the cup while you drink it. I have used this press countless times, and this is not an issue and the coffee remains excellent to the final drop. I was skeptical at first about paying over $25 (with tax) for this press, but after some fairly rigorous testing, I'm convinced this was a steal and is an incredible value. Just an update on my flask. I've been using this very same flask for about 4 years now, at least 5-6 times per week. And there is not a single thing about my original review below, that I would change. I am still so chuffed with it!Original review (July 2018):What is not to love? I have used this every day for the last year, sometimes multiple times a day. I take it hiking with me and it keeps my coffee (with milk) nice and hot for about 2-3 hours depending on the outside weather conditions (average temperature where I live is about 11 deg C). It helps a lot to pre-heat the thermos to keep the contents warmer for longer. When I first got it, I though "Oh no! It feels so heavy!" But I tell you what, it's not that bad once it's in your bag and totally worth it's weight in gold. I have dropped it, turned it upside down, had it lying on its side for an hour and never once did I get any coffee grind in my mouth - it seals properly. I also like the fact that I can easily attach this to my backpack with a carabiner.I have not used this in a car, but I think the diameter could be a bit wider than most standard cup holders so that could be a bit annoying.I am so enthusiastic about this travel press, I got two of my friends to buy their own. So YES I would recommend this to a friend. Happy coffee drinking!

This is 100% spillproof, holds a lot and has a French press completely inside. Best travel coffe mug ever .... hands down. Why did they stop making it? It's TOO GOOD ... only thing I can think of

Un poco difícil al principio calcular la cantidad de agua para que el filtro funcione correctamente, pero después de unos cafés de práctica te das cuenta que es increíble, mantiene el sabor y la temperatura por varias horas sin quemar el café, realmente practico y aunque se ve grande no es estorboso, lo he usado para hacer té también y funciona de maravilla también.
