Another brilliant sequel
So glad to be back with the boys at Kings Row. The story and characters and so diverse and loveable and hilarious and there is sooo much slow burn romance.I'm also super glad we got to see a bit more into Seiji & Jesse's relationship, as well as the developments in Nicholas and Seiji's 'friendship' đ

Absolutely DELIGHTFUL
This was delayed (understandably) for a couple of months but absolutely worth waiting for. Fantastic to see the character and relationship developments between all the characters (namely Jesse and Seiji's past, Seiji and Nicholas' current, Aiden and Harvard, and Bobby and Dante), and the art is lovely as usual.

Fence Volume 4 Review
Book ReviewTitle: Fence: Volume 4 by C.S. PacatGenre: Graphic Novel, Sports, HumourRating: 4 StarsVolume 3 of Fence a let down after the first two volumes but I am hoping volume 4 can bring it back. Volume 4 definitely brought back what the first two volumes had with more focus on the characters, their relationships and their unity as a team when it matters the most. Seiji was the standout character of this volume for me as we see his character beginning to shift slightly already and I canât wait to see more of that. This entire volume centres around the first practice match between Kings Row and MLC, their long standing rivals. Before this Nicholas is undergoing basic training that the others donât because of his poor foundations but he very quickly sees small improvements in his fencing. By the time we get around to the practice match he has started to build a proper friendship with Seiji. It seems like something happened between Seiji and Jesse like there was a misunderstanding of feelings and Seiji hasnât forgiven Jesse for it but we do see the potential romance between him and Nicholas developing nicely especially when Seiji helps Nicholas train for they can be a better team. The practice match itself was amazing as the Kings Rows boys realise the flaws in themselves individually and as a team and use Nicholas to patch them as he is an unknown to MLC and it actually helps them turn the tide of the match in their favour. After this Harvard, Seiji, Eugene and Nicholas see themselves as more of a team, Aiden is excluded from this as he doesnât really turn up for practice matches. We learn that this is possibly because of his romantic feeling for Harvard which he keeps hidden although I have the feeling that they would be returned. Aiden suffers from a lot of self-doubt even if he doesnât show it which is something I liked seeing as well as Aiden being a very sexually open character.

Best so far
Rivals is the best instalment so far, I absolutely love following the team bonding! It is such nice to see them trying to compete as a team instead of headstrong individuals. Nicholas and Seiji actually being friends and helping each other is precious.I'm already waiting for a next one!
