Supported my belly, neglected my back
I get such horrible lower back pain when I’m pregnant that I have to have support under my belly and for my back early on. Well I was making due with using a boppy wedge for my belly and more firm pillows from around my house for my back. Then I saw this one online and thought it was genius and I’d give it a try. Well it worked decent while I laid on the couch, I’m guessing Bc the couch was behind it to give me extra support. When I took it upstairs with me all back pain returned within two hours of me being asleep. I’m not much of a mover in my sleep but I woke up with the worst lower back pain and hip pain! It was so bad I honestly couldn’t doze back off for a while. Like others have stated, I had to fully sit-up and reposition the pillow and align my self back up within it before I could lay down again. Not what I’m really trying to do in the middle of the night.... but if it supported me properly, I happily do it! But it doesn’t. And just for reference, I’m pretty petite. Maybe I’m just not large enough for this to work properly. But to me it felt too small on the back support side. Needless to say I’ll be returning it and going back to my random house pillows

Must have in pregnancy
I love my SOS pillow. I previously purchased a C shaped pillow and for some time used both the C pillow and the SOS every night, but now use the SOS pillow exclusively. I've always been a side sleeper, but for whatever reason, in pregnancy always ended up on my back at some point during the night. The SOS pillow gives me peace of mind that I am keeping myself and baby safe by keeping me on my side to sleep- especially now that I am in my 3rd trimester. I also love that it isn't as bulky and doesn't take as much space as the C pillow so it's not like I'm isolating myself from my husband in bed. It is definitely a must have in pregnancy.

Works perfectly for half the night
While it allows you to sleep more hours before back pain causes you to want to toss and turn, in order to turn over to your other side you would have to completely wake up, get up and flip the product 180° or remove it completely and then sleep without the support for the rest of the night. It feels like a small design tweak might make this a perfect full night sleep solution but for now it's only half a night's sleep

Perfect size and stays in place
This wedge is great. I like that I can adjust the back portion so if I want to turn over it is still comfortable. The belly wedge is the perfect size as I found the larger ones were too wide and up to my boobs which wasn’t comfortable. It also stays in place which is a huge plus. Currently 23 weeks and love it.

Perfect for Me
The SOS pillow worked perfectly for me. I wanted something that wouldn't take up too much space in the bed and would still allow me to use my own head pillow and in between the legs pillow (both of which I was already accustomed to using pre-pregnancy). At first, I tried just using the Boppy wedge behind my back, but only having support on one side worried me. The SOS pillow is sturdy and gives me front and back support. Some other people have complained about the Velcro and having to move the pillow - it really depends on you. Personally, I haven't found the Velcro to be annoying or scratchy...and I sleep shirtless. I'm already waking up during the night to use the bathroom a couple to a few times (I can't not drink water before bed and during the night), so I don't mind resituating the pillow when I get up at those times if needed to switch sides.

Helps you stay on your side
I would give the belly wedge a 5 star review if it wasn’t for the wedge part moving and exposing Velcro that catches onto your lower back if you’re not covered. I always have to make sure my tank is pulled down so my skin doesn’t catch on the velcro. Other than that I do use it in conjunction with a C-pillow for extra comfort.

Worth it if you’re a back sleeper
I am a natural back sleeper and have tried pregnancy pillows, body pillows, pillows between by legs and this is the only thing that has kept me from rolling onto my back in the middle of the night, while also allowing me to sleep comfortably. It’s pricey but worth it.

Somethings not right with the material
It does the work of making you sleep on one side; however, for me the moment I gave it a try, I started getting itchy in the parts that touched my back and belly. I tried covering the belt and the supports with a thin cotton sheet but it didn’t make any difference. The itch continued and eventually I stopped using it.I am going to return it. Something is definitely not right with the material; it’s making my skin itchy and sensitive.

Back sleeper's perspective
Everyone is different, so 3 specifics about me: i) avid backsleeper, ii) old issues with my lower back, iii) hourglass body shape. Pros: the pillow would definitely force you to sleep on your side. Cons: you would need to adjust it during the night, to change sides. I couldn't sleep in a horizontal position for more than 5 hours from an acute hip pain. Once I've have bought an extra hard (orthopedic) pillow to hug between my knees, it has helped to reduce the hip pain. The deal breaker, however, was re-adjusting this band during the night every 2-3 hours, waking up myself and my husband.....

Does not work!
Good concept but not practical. It doesn't work.
