Great lights, very affordable. However, a right pain to set up.

These are great. Love how they can pack away neatly into tiny bags, handy if you don't have much space! It does take some practice to get good at packing it away so you might have to watch some YouTube tutorials to get it right, but once you've learned the technique it does get easy.

Like a mini soft box, ok or broadening the source of light from the LED panel but the deal breaker for me was that you lose the up-down tilt of the LED panel itself. It's basically fixes the LED panel at zero degree angle, straight ahead, because the sides of the soft box are too big for the yoke the LED panel is bolted to.

Just what I needed to. Protect my lights.

Okay - they're fiddly to fit, but seem to be reasonable secure. Obviously, brightness will be down as the light is spread over a wider area, but the diffuser doesn't absorb much more than the diffuser supplied with the 660 - and they're an absolute NIGHTMARE to fold back up into the pouch. There are no instructions whatsoever - online videos offer a way, but I've only managed to do it once. However, most of the time you're going to want these raised and pointing down - and that's not possible as they haven't taken account of the tilt mount on the 660. So you can point straight ahead, and upward, but not down. The way that it is fitted means that there is no way of actually doing this without buying an extra swivel head of some sort, so such a thing should really have been included. I've managed to use a couple of boom mic stands, but I should really have to. *** ADDITIONAL UPDATE - a later version of these has taken this tilting issue into account.

Will likely go for a proper light set and if the quality is anything like this, I won't be selecting Neewer. Made a little bit of improvement over the plastic cover that comes with the Neewer 660, however they are really not that great quality, They are out of shape, a line down one of the like when women get a ladder down their tights, " not to discriminate!, or men :s ". The 2nd one had a stain right in the middle... see both photos attached..

The product is good enough for the price. Easy to use if you have half of a brain... You can tilt it up or down, you just need to build your support in the right way. Don't lose much stops of light from the power source if you use it in a controlled environment gets the job done. Better way to take it, don't fold it it's made for getting flat only, other wise it will not last much.
