When I ran out, I decided to switch to Twinlab's multivitamin for the first time. I made the decision based on my decades of experience with Twinlab and on my having developed health issues that, while not related to a nutritional deficiency, *might* be helped by higher intake of some nutrients in conjunction with my medical care. Additionally, I liked their broader range of nutrients. I take a pretty large number of tablets/capsules each day - enough that tablet size is now very important to me. Twinlab multivitamin contains the nutrients in my previous multivitamin, at higher dosages, plus additional nutrients...all in a smaller capsule. The only way the laws of physics will allow that is to put more active ingredient (or higher-potency active ingredient) into the capsule.I have always looked to Twinlab for very high quality supplements. When it comes to herbal products that contain standardized extracts, for example, Twinlab is the only manufacturer from which I can buy without a second thought and know that I am getting exactly what is on the label. They may not be the least expensive maker of a particular supplement, but that is just simple economics. No one is going to make a product of equal quality and sell it for 1/3 the price, so there has to be some other reason that a competing product is cheaper. The most likely is that you are buying more of the inexpensive filler materials and less of the active ingredient. Other makers have even begun stating the strength of their products per "serving" (I've seen as many as 3 tablets per "serving"), rather than the standard dosage per tablet. That is the very definition of a shady business practice.My only complaint is that product is packaged in a plastic bottle. For every purchase prior to this one, the bottle was amber glass, so that I had a good Boston round jar for storing other stuff in the kitchen. Also, I thought I was avoiding another plastic bottle in general. They are nearly useless for me, and they are difficult to recycle where I live.

I bought this mainly on the reputation of TwinLab supplements. These do make you a bit flatulent but I like farting as much as possible and clearing rooms especially when I get on elevators. But mostly because this is a MAN formula and it offers prostate support which is another reason I bought it. I had a prostate cancer scare a couple of years ago with a PSA of 8.0 Naturally, all the red flags went up and a biopsy was ordered immediately. As it turned out I was diagnosed with BPH. In street terminology; an enlarged prostate. So every 6 months I have to go to a urologist and have a PSA ordered before every visit. My last exam was back in July and I was not happy with the PSA level. It was a 3.5 and my urologist is looking for 4.0 or less. So I'm back on the border again. So in January I have to do another PSA blood draw and hopefully it will be down. If it goes over 3.5 I will have to see the urologist face to face to figure out why it is on the rise again. I'm hoping this formula TwinLab has come up with for men will get my PSA down. I'm currently on 5mg.daily of finasteride(proscar). It had my PSA down to 1.2 Yes I am a bit worried at this point. Hopefully this formula will get it down.

I have used Twinlab's maxilife formula from back when you could buy it in 32 ounce bulk jars.Maybe 30 years with various products from them.This is a great formula, a blend of vitamins and essential minerals.You can't buy it in bulk anymore but its still a great product in their vitamin caps.The Men's Ultra Daily is a very similar blend to the old maxilife formula.I don't take four caps a day, at most 2. Your body doesn't need that high a concentration it just gets peed out.I have never had stomach issues even with the old bulk jars. The high niacin content if taken in to large a quantity will dilate your capillaries and flush your skin. This can also cause a nauseous feeling.Just don't take as many. Again one or two a day should be plenty.
