Great for training treats
These are small bits and there's a lot of them. This allows for a lot of rewarding during training sessions. They smell very fishy so I can only assume they are truly made of pure salmon. My dogs absolutely love them. These are way better than the prior treats with all the ingredients I couldn't pronounce. Will certainly not hesitate to buy these again.

Good Quality
I am currently obsessed right now with the Vital Essentials brand for my dog (including their nibs, mini patties, and treats). These mini nibs includes such limited ingredients, and very few additives. My dog is allergic to so many things, and I can give this food to him confidently, without fear of triggering his allergies.I’ve been buying duck and turkey for my dog… the turkey is made with turkey meat, turkey, heart, turkey liver, and herring oil; the duck is made with duck meat, duck, gizzard, duck liver, and herring oil. To make it a balanced meal, they add vitamin E, zinc, and several amino acids. Unlike many other brands, it does not have fillers like peas, potato, and all those other things.I believe that the price is fair for a good quality freeze-dried raw option like this. I will absolutely continue to purchase this dog food, and would certainly recommend it to a friend.

Favorite training treat
We buy these to take along on walks for training treats for our dog. I like that the ingredients are high quality and our dog loves the taste! I also like the size and lack of mess which make them perfect to throw in a pocket or training pouch. We have tried several different varieties/flavors and had zero complaints from our dog.

Vital essentials beef bits
I'm not sure what to think.. I've been feeding my kiddos the Freshpet refrigerated food & they luv it, but I wanted to put sum kibble back in their diet. So I bought a small bag of the vital beef bits. They didn't come running like I was hoping, but they have tried a lil of it. I'll keep putting it down & if anything changes I'll edit this reviewUpdate to this review from 2 stars to 5 I left this down & my lil Chihuahua luvs it I have it mixed with other good kibble but he's digging thru that to get to this stuff. Nice work vital essentials

it's good
I recently tried the Vital Essentials Freeze Dried Raw Dog Food in the Turkey Mini Nibs Entree flavor, and overall, it has left a positive impression on both me and my furry friend. Here are a few reasons why I'm giving it a solid 4 stars:First and foremost, the freeze-dried raw aspect of this dog food is a big win. It retains the nutritional value of the ingredients while providing a convenient and mess-free feeding experience. The mini nibs format makes portion control easy, and the 14 oz size is reasonable for the price. My dog seems to absolutely love the Turkey flavor. The fact that it's made with real, high-quality ingredients is evident in how eagerly my dog dives into his bowl. Knowing that he's getting a wholesome and protein-packed meal is a major plus. The convenience factor is a game-changer. As a busy pet owner, I appreciate the ease of preparation – simply scoop, add water, and watch the food rehydrate. It's a time-saving solution that doesn't compromise on the quality of nutrition. The 14 oz packaging is a good size for a trial or for those with smaller dogs. However, for owners with larger breeds, it might be more suitable as a supplemental or occasional treat rather than a primary meal source. While the price point is slightly higher than some traditional dog foods, the quality of the ingredients justifies the cost. It's an investment in your pet's health, and the benefits of a raw diet are well-reflected in the vitality and energy my dog exhibits. In conclusion, the Vital Essentials Freeze Dried Raw Dog Food in Turkey Mini Nibs Entree is a top-notch option for pet owners looking to provide a nutritionally rich and tasty meal for their dogs. It's convenient, well-received by pets, and offers a step towards a healthier diet. I highly recommend it for dog owners who prioritize the well-being of their furry companions.

#1 training treat
I looked high and low for the best training treats. We vary it and also give appropriate fruits/veggies, but this is the gold standard. Trust the company, no bs ingredients, protein(!), small for training, don't need to wash my hands after every one. And of course, dogs love love.

My dog loves these!
This treat is much more healthy for your pups over the biscuits and other dog treats that are full of artificial flavoring and preservatives. I love that they use lean rabbit meat as it is a much more high quality snack. My dog loves the taste of these treats and will pick them over all of the others. I like to use them as training treats because they are lower in calories, however, high in protein. We have them on autoship because she will go through these fast!

We use these as treats for our raw fed dogs
It was difficult to find small treats for raw fed dogs but I came across Vital Essentials quite a while ago and my dogs love them and I love the minimal ingredients in the product. I use these for training my two Malinois mix girls. I buy this product very regularly and always find it to be consistent. My pups love the Turkey and the Tripe. The product is small enough to put in treat balls as well as to use as training treats. My girls have no stomach upset or any issues with Vital Essentials.

Dog aren't excited
My dog didn't really like the rabbit meat version. She isn't really excited about it. But she still ate them when she doesn't have a choice.

Not as convenient as their other varities
These are fresh, natural, and made in the USA. The only inconvenience is when trying to break them apart to treat small dogs. As they are rather greasy it's tough to do the snap-tear that their other varieties allow. These are rather wet and pliable vs dry and rigid. Nevertheless, I'd rather have these treats vs many of the other made-elsewhere treats.
