Little backstory:I'm the girl who has NEVER been able to make polish look even remotely professional! If I polished my own nails, it looked like my 9 year old did it. Which, to be honest, my 9 year old probably knows more about nail care than me! I could probably count on one hand the amount of times that I've actually removed overgrown cuticles myself verses going to the salon. I've probably only ever touched a nail file maybe 20 times in my life & THAT was simply to file a sharp snag from a break or crack in the tip of my nail! Most of my polishes, files & clippers were either over 10 years old or belong to my daughter! I didn't even know that anyone could even order an electric nail filer/grinder without a nail tech license!However, thanks to COVID, paying for the convenience of a nail salon isn't the easiest thing to accomplish in Michigan at the moment. If the salon isn't all the way closed, you need an appointment to he seen. Of which, you can't really get anytime before April 😔. So I decided it was time for me to give it a go myself!👀... I mean... I trim my animals nails all the time! My kiddos nails too! And never ONCE did either the tiny humans OR the animals need emergency services afterwards! So there's THAT!My Pinterest projects always seem to come out great even though I swear I don't have a creative bone in my body! And I use a dremmel for said projects alllll the time! There's THAT too!If I can do crafty things with a dremmel AND trim nails without causing blood lost or the need for emergency medical care...than doing my own nails shouldn't be THAT difficult right?! 😬I spent weeekkkks researching brands, nail tools, supplies and anything else that would be needed. Literally. Weeks. FINALLY I decided on what I would need to order for my newly acquired at home nail salon!I ordered gel kits, nail dipping kits, polygel kits, nail tips & nail forms, glue on nails, a UV/LED light lamp & essentially... EVERY. SINGLE. nail tool known to man! I'm still not sure what most of them are for! In fact, I have NO IDEA what 1/2 of this stuff is! 😂So I got all of my new, unknown tools together & set out to apply gel polish to my nails...It actually wasn't too bad! Certainly not the nightmare I had imagined!! My cuticles were a complete mess so my fingers were a little sore after I was done, but that was to be expected with not having a manicure done since March! I wish it would have came with a chart of some sort explaining what attachment was for what. But for the most part, the bits (are they still called bits if it's not an actual dremmel???) that came with it seemed pretty self explanatory & I was able to youtube the ones I wasn't sure of. I certainly wouldn't have been able to do the things my nails so desperately needed without this amazing tool! It's lightweight & handheld features made it super easy to hold & manipulate to whatever angle I needed. The bits are in all types of sizes so no matter the size of your nail bed, you will be able to use it! Mine are VERY small & everything in here worked perfectly! Even with having to grind down & smooth so excessively, the tool itself never became nearly as hot as they do at the salon. I loved the fact that you can change the speeds so easily! For a beginner like me, it made it MUCH easier to navigate & keep control of the grinder at a slower speed until I became more comfortable with it.I would DEFINITELY recommend this to anyone! ESPECIALLY BEGINNERS!!!

Love this, easy to use, easy to hold and control. So many different attachments. Only wish it had a plug charger not usb.

Good investment for a beginner like me. It's easy to use and powerful. Many filing spares. It's USB powered so I plug it into my laptop when I don't feel like plugging it into a adaptor into the wall socket.

I got this to help me do my own dip nails with a kit I bought on Amazon. It’s about the length of a large sharpie. I got a much better result with this nail drill than a hand file, obviously, but, for use on natural nails, a word of caution: be gentle. The included brown file sleeves cause uncomfortable vibrations when used on the nail edge. Also, I made the mistake of using the brown sleeve on the bed of my nail and it felt like a painful burn. No injury, though, and the pain eventually subsided. Overall, be quick with your passes over your nail. I only used it on the lowest setting since the instructions say that using it too long on high causes it to break. The low setting was very effective though, so I didn’t need to turn it up.I also used it to help remove the dip I had on and it worked great to get that top layer off. I filed a little longer to get some of the actual dip off so it saved me some time and acetone. If you use it for this, again, be careful not to file too far down into your actual nail.I knocked a star off for the brown sleeve files. I will NOT be using those again. Ouch!

This is a great tool for beginners. I had to buy some separate bits to help me remove my dip powder, but that wasn't too expensive, and the new bits fit this file just fine. I've had the file for almost a year, and it just now died on me. So considering I got it on sale for $12 when I bought it, I can't complain.

This is a great tool for toenails. You just have to be careful what setting you are on. It seems to be a professional grade tool and works very well.

I've been a nail technician for over 20 years and have used many machines. This product is better than most brand names! Very lightweight, compact and simple to use. I love that it has enough power for sculpting acrylics and gels. I did wrap an elastic around handle as it does slip once in awhile. However, it has low vibration and noise. The USB cable allows you to use it almost anywhere in your travels.

This product came quite fast, it’s a beautfil color got the perfect weight for when ur filing with it. Came with a manicure set (clippers, nippers, tweezers etc.), a powder brush, the cord, the drill itself, two sets of drill bits and a bag of sanding bands! so excited to get to use this. i plugged it in and it works awesome, can’t wait to use more! i did it take that good of picture but it comes tighty and sadly packed!
