Great quality
This review is in regard to the Exterior Inswing Threshold 5 5/8 inch with Composite Cap and Composite Bottom- Dark Bronze (36 inch Uncut)I used a hacksaw to notch out the new threshold, where it fits into the doorway casing frame. You need to trim both sides to fit inside the door casing, with many but not all doors, but it is not hard to trim. Just copy your old one if it exists, or measure.I trimmed my new threshold a tad tight, maybe a 1/16th" or so, and lightly smacked (tapped) it in, than down with a piece of 2"x4" and a rag for a cushion, and used panel adhesive to glue it down, it worked greatIt cuts very easily as the aluminum on top is thin but durable, and it has a hard composite type foam underneath that cuts as smooth as butter. What I like about this threshold is the hardened foam underneath will not soak up water like the older thresholds do, made with wood underneath. In my case, the wood rot had spread to the door casing frame at the bottom, which I repaired first with Famo wood patch, you can no longer tell it had rotted.I replaced an old 5.5" depth threshold with this 7", as there was enough concrete to accommodate the larger one. Either would have worked, just have to measure first and see what your options are or stick with your original sizeGreat product, thank you

Threshold
Very classy looking. Much better than the silver metal. Looks nice. Takes a little time, had to be cut to fit. Great product

Works well, but rubs the bottom of the door; not very adjustable
Certainly an improvement over the old aluminum and wood threshold. The wood under the existing threshold was rotted, allowing water to penetrate the adjacent hardwood flooring. This composite door threshold is well made and sturdy. It cuts easily on a miter saw. I had to cut the existing threshold in half with a Dremel undercut saw and a cutoff wheel. The Dremel makes more precise cuts, so I used that to cut the threshold nearest to the hardwood flooring, to avoid damage, and then used the cutoff wheel to finish the cut. After removing the old threshold, which sort of crumbled in my hands, I vacuumed the area. To install the new threshold, because it doesn't flex, I had to cut away sections on both sides of the door jamb, which I then reinstalled. Although the existing flashing was not in need of replacement, I added a strip of self-adhesive flashing. I secured the new threshold with liquid flashing and installed three 2-1/2-inch structural screws under the adjustment bar. I need to repaint the door frame and now that I've stopped water from coming in under the door, I will refinish the floor. The new sill is nice, works well and I especially like the sleek look of the dark bronze/black aluminum, but the sweep on the underside of the door rubs the top of the threshold, even with the threshold screwed down to its lowest adjustment setting. Its so tight, it even pulls the caps off the top of the bar, revealing the adjustment screws. Since this is composite, it cannot be planed or sanded. I could trim away the aluminum channel and shorten the legs on underside of the composite adjustment bar, but its a major modification, so I'll give some time to see if things settle down and the door becomes easier to open and close. I wish the profile was a little lower, but other than that, I'm satisfied with this door threshold.

Very good product.
It was easy to install in my door.

Saved the Door
Did the trick and saved me from having to replace the entire steel door due to the previous threshold rotting and allowing water to seep through. Fixed the leak and looks great too. This project is tedious in general. but much easier than replacing the entire door. Glad to know it is repaired permanently since the threshold is made of a composite material.

Better than Jeld Wen
Packaged well, shipped quickly. Much better quality than the factory Jeld Wen threshold that came with my French doors. Easy to cut, easy to install.

Did not fit / NO Height Measurement on Website
Cost more for return shipping than it did to ship my order.

It's black not bronze!
I was very disappointed in this product. I had been so excited to learn that I could get a bronze threshold for my bnb entry way. The walls are bronze metallic and this would have been perfect IF it had actually been bronze. However it's actually black! I'll post a picture soon.
