On the plus side, these Fintie cases are really accurately made, with camera holes, plugs, and the shape of the well into which my Pro 8.4 fits matching up extremely well. Somebody at Fintie engineering obviously puts a lot of time and effort making all of their cases precisely customized for whatever given device. The manufacturing quality is very high as well, and for the given design, they're about as good as one could ask.The built-in magnets are well hidden and sufficiently strong to provide both closure, and to hold the folded pieces in place when used as a stand. Again, very well thought out, very effective.All that being said however, these are still not my favorite cases for tablets. I have always found it way too easy to inadvertently touch, and thereby activate something on the screen when holding a tablet with one hand with this kind of case. By virtue of its lack of overlaying material (leather, whatever) around the top edge of the screen, I constantly struggle to figure out how to hold this thing.IF the above doesn't bother you, then this case is a very good choice, perhaps the best in this category. And it's certainly a very good value.

This product is like the one sold by Samsung but way cheaper. For the price point, it is a good buy. I went to Best Buy to check out the one sold by Samsung and compared it with the Fintie. The differences are minute and ultimately, they do the same job of protecting the tablet. The tablet fits pretty good in the Fintie. A little tight, but good. It will not move around in the case. All of your buttons, micro sd cover, speakers, and earphone jack are easily accessible due to the cut outs on the case. All of the corners are rounded and protected by the plastic back of the case so that your tablet corners will not get scratched or dinged. The back of the case is stiffer and stronger than the front. The front does all of the folding so a trade off here. Since this case is very slim, even with the tablet in it, it does not protect the tablet like the Belkin cover. The Belkin cover is much thicker and again, another trade off here for the slim factor. The fit is good but the finish needs to be a little bit better. I would have given it a 5 star if it wasn't for the fit and finish. Anyway, it's just cosmetic, but I'm anal about these things and I do want my money's worth whether it's a dollar or a thousand dollars. Your miles may vary!! Overall, I will buy another if the price and shipping is still right and will recommend this product for the Tab Pro. I don't know how long this product is going to last but I'm definitely going to find out since I use my tablet everyday for work and play.A little caveat - some of the cases sold on Amazon, Ebay, or other vendors cost more but pretty much the same make as the Fintie. I basically researched most of them and the specs are the same except for the badging, the seller, and the manufacturer. I wouldn't be surprised if they all came out of the same company from China. Also, I chose this particular model because it did not have the metal plate/clasp on the middle edge of the front cover that bends into the inside of the front cover. This plates seems to be more decorative than utilitarian in nature. I read somewhere in the other reviews that the metal plate will scratch the surface and/or side of the tablet, especially when being transported in a bag, where it's moving around, or being carried, gripping it on the side where the metal plate sits. I figured with this much money invested in this tablet, I will be more careful and protective of it so be aware and be careful when picking out your case for a tablet or anything else for that matter. I bought this case for my new Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and love it. When I bought my tablet at best buy, they were pushing real hard for my to buy their $40 case. I knew that I could probably find a good cheap one at amazon. After a few minutes of browsing around, I found this one. Some people are complaining that their cases smells but I decided to go ahead and buy it. Mine does not smell what so ever. It fits perfectly. It does cover up the micro sd card slot (like that really matters), and doesnt cover up the IR port so that I can use it as a remote for my TV. Im blown away by the fact that it does go to sleep or stand by when you close the case. When you open it up, turns right back on. I also like that it also stands up by itself when you fold the front of the case. It also stays up when standing in place thanks to magnets. Also theres magnets on the case that keeps the case closed and quite easy to open up. It really is a good case. If youre looking for one, I highly recommend this one.

I purchased this the day I bought my Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4.The case has been great. Over a year later and the tablet looks new and the case is in great shape despite daily use. This thing rocks.The fit is very snug on your device, you really have to snap it in, which is confidence inspiring that it wont toss your expensive tablet someday.The inside of the case is lined with a type of velvet like material and it does a great job of coddling your device and preventing scratches.It adds almost zero size or weight to your tablet which is great. I hate big bulky cases that ruin the beautiful design the manufacturer worked hard to create.Absolutely would buy again!

When I bought my Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 used, it came with a Finite case on it (identical to this one) and immediately I realized the practicality as well as liked the aesthetic look of this case, and I was already very happy! My previous case had an unfortunate accident from my 3 year old son getting his hands on it, but it did it's job and protected my tablet where there was no damage at all. Since I had to replace my case, I knew exactly what I wanted to buy, and this was it!This gives 360 degree protection, and the magnetic closures help keep it secure. It is very easy to set up to watch videos and is quite stable. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with this same tablet! If the quality of this one is any indication, I'd imagine the other products they make are just as good!
