A large J-zip front panel, padded internal laptop sleeve and streamlined low-profile water bottle pocket keep everyday essentials organized while a breathable harness keeps you comfortable. Hopping on the express train or stopping for an espresso? Use the built-in self-locking hook to secure your pack to something stationary and prevent your belongings from disappearing. Quality crafted with certified recycled fabrics that are made to endure daily use. The Arcane Large Day is made from 10.5 plastic bottles.

Review: Sleek, cool looking backpack - Does not have a usual backpack exterior vibe - understated like Danish furniture. Just a couple of zippers (barely) visible from the back. Pulls and zippers themselves are subtle enough, but work smoothly when wet or dry. Main zipper is easily S clip lockable, if necessary. Interior has many many cubbie slots and is deceivingly large. Padded back and shoulder straps, even the top handle, all share a quality feel. Comfort is excellent, even when very loaded. Recently proved itself on a couple of weeks of flying, driving, buses, hotels, opened and closed a few thousand times (slight exaggeration) and it did everything perfectly. Well worth not buying a cheap imitation.

I have taken it on a few trips as my small carry with me type bag. holds a few snacks, books, chargers....sweatshirt, simple change of clothes, etc. I really like the way the water bottle pocket on the outside is designed as well. It holds my 20oz bottle well. (it won't hold my 32oz) I am happy with this backpack!!!

**Q: How durable is the outer surface? Is it abrasion resistant?**
A: I’m a big fan of my Arcane pack. The outer surface is quite durable for most normal applications: home, office, car or public transport, etc. However, if you’re throwing it around a construction site, then it may not hold up as well. Just use good judgement.

Exactly what you’d expect from Osprey: thoughtful design and exceptional quality. In terms of size, this is the perfect office/commuter backpack if you’re toting a laptop with general essentials (cords, chargers, mouse etc). Might get a little tight for extras if they’re larger. That said, perfect size bag for what I personally was looking for. This is my third Osprey pack…my other two are for hiking a larger pack (Rook) and a daypack (Daylite) both awesome as well.
