Farenheit DVD-39 1-DIN DVD Player (with 32GB USB)

I placed mine into a boat for the kids. Quality and clarity not necessarily critical. You results may very. I also planned to mount this in a cabinet (under dash style). This unit comes with all the brackets you need - however, if you mount under dash style, you will reduce the size of the play because the front bezel comes off and all that is left is the player itself - if you look in the picture, the plastic surround will come off - easily.All that said, it plays movies fine, has an external remote sensor, and will play from USB stick. I used a 128GB USB stick formatted as FAT32. (you'll need a special program to format FAT32 on anything bigger than 32GB - several free ones if you Google). I also used PAVTUBE software to Ripe my DVDs and also convert the output to the required format. The formats that worked for me are: XVID AVI (640x480), MPEG-4 (not the H264 codex MP4) 640x480, DIVX 640x480 <-- These using PAVTUBE Video Converter. If you use DIVX from DIVX, I was able to get DIVX Mobile to work (320x240) (DIVX also worked at 640x480 but its a manual edit). DIVX (from DIVX) looked the worse. XVID looked the best, MPEG-4 was the fastest.

Kids love having the DVD player in the SUV and it helps keep them occupied.. Nice quality product that was easy to install and is a good value for the money.

Its not that great. For some reason the volume doesnt sound realy that loud on my monitors. Also when I press eject it doesnt always work. The clarity is ok. Installation is good and easy also. I just dont like that the volume is very low.

Great basic unit. Picture quality is good and the DVD player is pretty easy to use.

False Advertising! Said it came with an SD card slot along with a USB slot, but it only has a USB slot. We have now ordered two of these believing that the first time around had to have just been a mistake. So we gave them the bennifit of the doubt. Contacted Amazon and had a replacement sent out, but when we received the replacement, it was the same thing. No SD card slot... Wish it would have been different. We were very excited about this DVD player, but now we are just disappointed and frustrated. Save your self the hassle and order from someone who will be honest with you from the beginning...Now as for this product working great or not I can not say as we didn't instal it since it wasn't what we were looking for. But if you do order it, I just want to forewarn you that this is what you'll be getting and not what they actually have advertised. Godd luck! Excellent work perfect for my application

My Grandkids are so excited to have the DVD player going in our van again.

Unit arrived fine and was installed successfully. After one set of CDs played, my wife checked out a Novell from our local library and the DVD 39 player "ate" the first disc. We still haven't gotten it out and will almost certainly have to go to a car audio shop to have it removed which will probably destroy the player. This unit got off to a good start but has now fatally failed the reliability test. Even if we can get the CD out of it, we'd have no confidence the unit wouldn't eat a future one.
