very bright for little lights
love them. they were the perfect size over our kitchen breakfast bar and shine very bright for little lights (we only used 2 so far). Love the fact that they can be tilted.

Nice fittings. Run very cool
Well it's early days, but I fitted 8 of these units and after a day i have no failures and both the lamp housings and the diminutive drivers seem to run very cold, relative to other LED based 3" and 4" units I've used. I bought the 5W/4000K units. I'm going to order some spares just in case i run into issues down the road, but so far was impressed by the build quality and design. They should be able to reach the pictures nicely thanks to the gimball design. The only quibble i'd mentionis the press-release electrical block which i changed out to caps to make it a bit more robust.

Great lighting but heads up.
Great lights with issues. 120 volt connections are required to be in a junction box. Really no way to use drivers to Code. Best to find a accessible location and feed these with correctly sized dimmable driver and 12 v wire, no box required. Springs fall off. One light wouldn't adjust. Not enough dimmability. but the adjustability is fantastic. Others will copy but for now I am using these. Update; These lights do things at a really small size that nothing else I have been able to find can do. But dang, why couldn't they have made them run on 12 volt DC, like every other LED. They require 11 volts but I missed the fine print and I have been installing LEDs since something like this would have cost you over $100, A long time, remember 50 watt MR16 halogen lights? Ugh, I installed 1000s, but it was the best we had at the time. The lights in the living room are the warm white. The lights in the bedroom are the Natural light, it looks better this way, Since I have burned up a bunch of them connecting them to dimmers and a central 12 volt DC transformer, I was able to play around with colors. Fortunately, this is my home and I have time to play with the lights and pictures. I use 16 gauge low voltage wire to feed these. I repeat, there is no way to install a legal 120 volt junction box inside a 2" hole. Installing a remote Driver, IE. DC transformer and routing that wire to the lights is the only legal way, that I can come up with to power these things. I have determined that my early success with these lights was based upon voltage drop, which is considerable when you are only pushing with 12 volts. My third lighting project with these lights was my closet. I installed a small driver in a 4-0 box, after replacing the 3-0 box but my wire runs to the 4 lights were not very long. No voltage drop so the first one in the series soon expired. Which is when I broke out my reading glasses and learned eleven volts is all they can handle. Opps. My fix was to coil up another 15 feet of 16 gauge before the first light, adding voltage drop. Nine months later, they are still going strong and I am purchasing another 16 to light up the ADU unit I am building downstairs. This time, I am installing a second small rotary dimmer at the Driver location so I can limit the maximum voltage put out for by the primary dimmer. I will use a 4 gang box above a closet shelf and in a kitchen cabinet to house the driver and rotary dimmer. I have bench tested this and it works. If you call bullshit and run 120 volt wire to the crappy light connectors, start a fire with no junction box, wipe out your entire linneage and get sued, its on you buddy.

Not super well-made but inexpensive
I really like these lights because the direction is easily adjustable. I used these over floating shelves on each side of the fireplace and they look great, but one of the drivers went bad and now I don't know how to get a replacement. Another problem I had with these is that they didn't come with a junction box. it would be nice if they came with a little 2 in junction box to make the appropriate connections that I could just stick up in the hole that I drilled

Easy install, nice warm glow, buy them!
Super shallow and super easy to install, these lights put off a nice warm glow. The best part of installing them was that I was able to place them wherever I wanted in the ceiling because of the shallow depth. To those that are concerned I did not see a UL rating on them, however these are very high-quality and well built lights. They do not fit into a standard junction box, however you can cut a custom hole and install them directly in the ceiling. It literally took five minutes to install them.

Nice accent light for tight spaces.
Nice warm light. Very low profile/thin. Perfect for tight ceiling spaces with a/c ducts, supports and wiring. Great for accenting wall art. Images are at 100% and dimmed to 50%.

2 inch diameter ceiling lights are hard to find.
Prompt delivery, each light has its own LED driver, brighter than I expected. I might go down a level next time

Great task lighting for a sloped ceiling
The light is for task lighting (painting, etc) and has the great feature of rotating more than most lights (Rotates >30%) so it can be installed on sloped (e.g. 30deg vaulted ceilings) and still rotate enough to focus on walls / pictures. One important point - this does not come with the electrical box (required by Canadian code) to house the electrical connection (only comes with push in connnector). Hence, the lower rating on installation. Still... if you purchase the normal electrical box and lid.... still a good buy.
