is the Utility 10.4x11.8 cutting board really 1" thick?

The cutting board itself is 5/16 in thick. The rubber feet at the corners are total 1/2 in thick.

How deep are the juice catchers? The old model wasn’t very deep so as soon as you picked it up it would start to pour out if not kept level.

I bought one of these about a year and a half ago and another one for my vacation house a couple weeks ago. There is a U shaped groove running down each long edge on the one side...on the short sides these grooves run into larger flat bottomed indentations which should hold more juice than the long side grooves. I did an experiment filling the groove all the way around the 8. 93-in x 12. 89-in Everyday Cutting Board with a little water. It held 1 tablespoon plus 1/4 teaspoon. It does easily pour out as I found when I did this test.

Does it get cut up easily?

Yeah have used it acouple times and it leaves fine cut marks, I was hoping it wouldn't leave any. it is a nice size though.
