Bryant / Carrier Genuine OEM MACPAK Filter FILXXCAR0016 (2-Pack)

Seems just like the other OEM filters I have purchased in the past, but these have MUCH thinner material than the one I just removed (and previous filters I have used for the last several years). Not sure if this is a mis-marked filter, a counterfeit, or the manufacturer is just getting cheap. Seems to me that if it is MERV 8 rated, it would be the same as the other MERV 8 filters. I will look for an alternative now.

No issues. I was using a Nordic Pure substitute for this filter and it was really off dimensionally. I got this in today and it just fits snug like it should getting rid of the oil canning effect I got from using the other (smaller actual dimensions would cause the filter to get sucked up to the blower creating a vacuum below it. This would cause the panels to get sucked in and then release when it cuts off which would make a loud bang). I will be sticking with the Bryant filters from now on.

I looked for 2 hrs for the perfect filter to fit my furnace. When I stumbled upon this listing I was so happy! They arrived to my house in half the time that was promised and the filter slid right in. Next time I need a filter,I will definitely be ordering this product again.

This is the second time I've purchased these filters for my aunt. The best price seems to be on Amazon.com. Also, I had difficulty finding the correct size size my aunt needed. Amazon did have the correct size. My aunt is very happy with the filters so I do recommend them.

I love the fact that they are exactly the filters that I need for my furnace. Even though expensive I got them for a cheaper price here than every where else that I've shopped. They should last me well into 2019.

It was easy to put in, but I wasn't quite sure which side was up or if that even mattered. I like the construction of the container for its ease of handling best.
