Super-duper cute and unique costume! ^_^
Okay, so I have eyed these Kigurumi suits off and on for years. I am a child at heart. I love animals and I love cuteness. It was probably destined that I would one day purchase one of these suits. So, I got new work on a graveyard shift. It's fine, but evenings on my weekends - that time I would typically be at work when the masses are sleeping - is pretty dull. Unless I want to go to 24hr Walmart, or a gas station... I am pretty much left to my own devices having fun at home. Again, it's fine. I am a nerd. I work in the games industry. The night + computers is practically my preferred native environs, but that said - Who *doesn't* need a Narwhal Kigurumi to liven up the hours of 12-8am? I mean, really? Exactly. After grueling assessment of my needs for comfort, color preferences, uniqueness, etc. I finally narrowed my Sazac Kigurumi of choice down to Narwhal vs. Blue Unicorn. Although Blue Unicorn had an edge in with some extra pink fuzziness on the mane and tail... the Narwhal pulled at my heartstrongs with his teeny happy face, extra large horn of awesome, and his shlumpy body complete with whale tail and... legs? LEGS! Yes, just what every narwhal never knew he never wanted!Narwhal won the Kigurumi battle so he arrived in the mail yesterday afternoon, and he has made three people ROFLOLMAO in that short span of time, along with causing one driver passing by the yard (when I was watering some cantaloupe) to horrifically miss-shift a gear. That was fun! Though hot... Narwhals are clearly not at their best in the heat of the day during the springtime of the SW desert. That said, Narwhal ARE fantastic in the nippy chill evenings of the high desert. Just pop on some socks or slippers and they are comfy as a kiddie pool of puppies under a rainbow sky.On to SERIOUS thoughts, because this horn practically demands higher thinking, here are things to consider before you buy:1. I am 5'6", 150lbs, 36C, short-legged and long armed. In regards to the limbs, genetically, WHO KNOWS what I was thinking, but it does make clothes shopping weird. I bought the normal Adult sized suit and it is billowy in the body, has a roomy hood, goes to my ankles, has the crotch area sagged down to below my knees and the arms are like bracelet length blouse arms on my long, thin arms. When I pop the flipper mitt over my hands it pulls tight and puckers open a bit at the wrist opening, but is not uncomfortable, and know that I DO have weirdly long arms for my height. That said, tall and lanky folks may find the flippers unwearable when worn as the flipper mitten as opposed to flipped back. Something to consider. Also, someone suggested they leave a button undone at the top as they found the neck too tight. The neck only feels tight for me when I sit, and then because of the way the suit is a full body item - and sitting pulls the whole thing in little odd ways, suddenly the top button cuts into me unless I leave it unbuttoned. Something else to consider, at any body size, due to the mechanics of suit-wearing, apparently.2. The suit is not lined, except the hood, which is lined in a light weight t-shirt fabric. That said, even the white bit on the front of the whale belly doesn't appear very sheer. I turned on the lights and looked in the mirror and did not see my dark undies unless I pressed them tight to the fabric, and then only barely. This could be completely mitigated with nude undies for the concerned. And though the buttons may gap if you are pudgy, large or sitting x-legged, any squeamishness over showing bits could be mitigated with boy shorts undies and a fitted camisole, or maybe a leotard - though the latter would make even more suffering for those needing to use the facilities while wearing this suit.3. The fabric and construction seem good. The fleece is a soft, cotton candy feeling fabric. Not too heavy, but not too sheer either. We will have to see about durability as I just got mine and haven't gotten to see how it takes repeat washings. Though they mention the suit should be washed but not tumbled, I tumble. I tumble LOTS of things that say not to, but I will use low or no heat tumble for these more delicate items, and I've had no problems. The eyes and back spots are a slightly stiff, slightly thin-feeling felt-like fabric. They are attached well, with cleanly sewn lines. They seem reasonably durable. All the rest of the seam work appears well-done and reasonably durable. The buttons and placket are nice and lay flat with no puckering after washing.4. The tail. I was excited for this weird and unique tail, and mine doesn't seem badly constructed, but because they are leaving it floppy to be soft and comfortable I've found the whale tail folds together instead of laying flat and looking like the classic whale tail we know and love. This is slightly mitigated by buttoning it up, though not fully. And buttoning the tail up and away does make it harder to do the upright "worm" and flap your whaley tail like you are swimming through the ocean like a real narwhal of watery goodness. Totally silly, unrealistic expectation for something I suspect I am hardly going to be doing except now and then to make onlookers laugh, but something the serious narwhal suited person may wish to keep in mind.5. The head hood. I am pleased with this hood. It is sufficiently large for my average lady-sized head. It feels a bit more voluminous than a regular hoodie, curving out at the sides and hanging just a perfect touch out at the forehead. The whale face is lightly padded to keep the shape and assume to keep the horn nice and perky in the right place. I can't tell if the stuffing is contained as I feel no seams. It might be batting. As such over time the stuffing could shift with wear and washing. Something to keep in mind.Buying tip: It looks like there are a ton of fakes, for not that much cheaper in cost. I for one don't think it's worth it to pay a little less, wait for shipping from China only to be disappointed with construction, etc. I bought mine from the Global Deals Today vendor, who has pretty much ALL the Sazac Kigurumis and though they are not the cheapest, they are MSRP (and some lower) along with being a legitimate Sazac-selling vendor. As such I do recommend them if you really want to be sure to get a Sazac and not a fake.Bottom line: This is a really fun item. If you are attracted to goofy cute things then this is right up your alley. You are pretty much guaranteed to make yourself smile every time you wear it - around the house, on halloween or to cons, or even as I did wearing it in my front yard and causing near traffic accidents! :D The price is a bit steep, though keep your eye out as Amazon prices flux radically and I saw a penguin up for $49 instead of the~$69 these narwhal are going for. That said, the item seems of reasonably good quality, the design is great fun and thoughtful in craft and I suspect I will be lured into buying at least one more in the future. If mine falls apart in a weird way, or any way I guess, I will come back and let you know, otherwise I may just stop by to say, "I made a team of game designers loller their socks off for Halloween and I lub my Narwhal Kigurumi!"P.S. I am adding some photos. I hope they post as lately I often have to repost 2-3 times to get my photos up. Hope my review helps! Enjoy your AWESOME and ORIGINAL narwhal costume! I know I am! ^_^

Adorable, warm, and soft. Totally worth the price.
I absolutely love this onsie. My friends and I we're going to have a onsie party and I knew I wanted to be a narwhal. I searched through a lot of listings but everything seemed thin and cheap. I hesitated to get a Kigurumi because of the price, but it was so worth it. The fabric is thick and soft and the colors are vibrant. I'm 5'5 and approx 190 lbs with a fairly large chest and it fits me perfectly (regular size). I only have two complaints, but they're slight. First off is that its fastened shut using buttons not a zipper which can cause it to gap when I sit and it's a little annoying when going to the bathroom. Second is what I call the "poopy pants" design. The crotch of the pants hangs just above my knees which is the original design of the Kigurumi but it can make maneuvering difficult.Overall if you're looking for an adorable , soft, warm, quality onsie then I would totally pick this. The price was worth it.

Authentic Sazac, Very Cute, Materials Could Be Better
First of all, let me tell you why this Sazac narwhal kigurumi SLAPS!The horn stands up!Cute pink contrast hood lining!Adorable tail!Cozy! It’s totally worth it.BUT.The appliqué spots on the back are made of stiff, low-quality felt stuff. It literally bends and holds creases! It should be soft fleece or even cotton knit like the hood lining, or printed on. It’s a little disappointing for everything else about this kigurumi be so fun and appealing and also have these cheap fabric spots that won’t wash well. Sazac should do better.Don’t let it stop you from buying, just be aware that the spots aren’t great. I’m going to replace mine with something nicer.

Nice fabric
This is one of the more premium Kigurumi jammies. The fabric is nice, not too thin or thick. It has a super cute, removeable tail, that I didn't know it had until I got it. A little pricier than some other brands, but it seems like it's all around nicer than a cheaper one my kid got.

Pay the little extra for this legit kigu!
I had a little buyers remorse when all the other ones were almost half the price but this thing is awesome. It’s a thick super soft flannel material and well made. I am always worried about my ladies in baggy clothes (I am a DDD) but they are lost in this. It’s awesome! Like other comments the legs are a little short but I am taking this Electric Forest so that’s actually a plus for me. I am 5’6 and 160 pounds and this fits me like the model in the picture. I just got it so I am hoping it will hold up well but it definitely feels like it will

Very nice quality! Loved how bright the colors were and the texture of the material it was made out of. Fits exactly as expected. Used for a charity pub crawl and was a huge hit! Was truly expecting a cheaply sewn suit but it turned out way better and even higher than what I expected. May have to wear a shirt underneath because the white part in the area is a little see through but that isn't a problem at all I think. Bought it for my brother and he is 6'11 and it fit him perfectly! Can definitely fit someone even a little taller if you need it. Best price to compared to the other ones I was looking at.

This is my second Kigurumi (of 3) and I got the second two because my first Sazac Kigurumi, purchased for Halloween, was so wonderfully cozy that I ended up wearing it around the house all the time after work and I figured I should get more before it was worn out. Loved that one, love this one.-Quality is great-pockets, dawg-warm as heck-tail can be pinned up or left down-nice and roomy (I'm a size 16 woman and it's super baggy still)-narwhal, yo.

Great quality, sooo comfy and cute!
This was well packaged, unlike some other companies with vaccine seal and crush their products. This was loosely packed and in excellent condition. The quality is wonderful, and the design is SO DAMN CUTE I CANT HANDLE IT. The tail flops back and forth adorably when I walk and the polka dots on the back are so sweet. I AM A NARWHAL!!!! *runs in happy circles* I swear I’m an adult. Really.

Love it!
Love it! It's definitely flexible size wise (fits myself, 5'10', and my boyfriend, 6'1'). The quality is great and I received it in a timely manner.
