Spigen Tough Armor Designed for iPhone 6S Plus Case (2015) - Rose Gold

Recently purchased an iPhone 6 S Plus in Space Grey and purchased this in the Gunmetal. Was torn between this and an OtterBox DEFENDER iPhone 6 Plus/6s Plus Case - Frustration-Free Packaging - BLACK Ultimately, this won out, and I am very pleased with the decision. While the Otterbox may be close to a safe-box for safety, including the built-in screen protector, it's too much box. Just too much. If I had my druthers, I'd just get a clear case and show the phone off. But it's nearly a thousand dollar phone (128 GB). No, I don't think so. I paired this the iPhone 6s Plus Screen Protector, Spigen® iPhone 6 Plus / 6s Plus [3D Touch Compatible- Tempered Glass] Most Durable [Easy-Install Wings] Rounded Edge Glass Screen Protector [Life Warranty] - SGP11634 , and I had the phone in the case and the protector on in less than 5 minutes. Beautiful combination, and the craftsmanship and quality are top notch. There's protection here, without completely sacrificing the phone's clean, streamlined look and feel in the hand. No, it doesn't feel as cool, but it's a trade-off, and the Otterbox is even bulkier (though, arguably, gives nearly iron clad protection). The Otterbox Defender does have the nice travel plastic clip that acts also acts to protect the case, but there's just too much case for my tastes; and I really don't like the plastic lip at the bottom. With this Spigen case coupled with the glass protector, I get some serious protection while not entirely burying my beautiful iPhone under protection: the glass protector keeps the front elegant, clean, and smooth. No plastic lip. (And it went on like a charm.) I will be on the hunt for something to put the whole thing into for travel, which I wouldn't have had to do with the Otterbox, but I'm very pleased with how this configuration gives me great protection while not loosing the phone's beauty entirely. The Gunmetal color compliments the Space Grey stunningly.

The case was initially hard to put on because I removed the flexible inner piece to put the phone in before attaching the harder back plate to it. (I followed the same procedure I do for my Galaxy S7 OttorBox commuter series) However, this proved to be kinda difficult. As other reviews have stated, the case is hard to take off and requires a lot of careful finesse to remove without damaging the phone. The case seems of good quality and it doesn't hide what it is; a plastic phone case. It looks good. The design is good. It feels good in hand. Everything about the phone is good. Not great, not excellent, not bad, not poor. But really good. It will satisfy most, if not all of your needs if you seek a protective case that also looks good and is relatively affordable. I can't attest to its protective ability because we haven't dropped the phone yet and hope to avoid that for the foreseeable future. The previous home of our iPhone 6s Plus was a Case Mate gemstone case in rose gold. So automatically, this is a much more simplistic case by comparison. The pop-out stand is very lightweight and for careful, restrictive use only. I don't know how long it will last. The volume buttons are very good and responsive. The power button on the other hand, is very flat and unresponsive unless you press hard on it with the tip of your finger. You might even have to tilt the phone to do it, the first few times at least. Overall, the slim design with theoretical high protective ability make this a really good choice if you're looking for a new phone case. If asked, I will recommend this case.

Awesome Case. I love that they included a Rose Gold Color to their edition. Heres the Pros and Cons PROS -Overall its a hard and sturdy Case. -Great Price Point -Reliable if dropped lightly. The farthest it fell for me was 3-4 ft. No problem (my phone was also equipped with their Spigen Screen Protector when dropped) CONS -The phone Stand is a god send. It almost became my perfect case but to be HONEST. The Stand itself to me is more of a gimmick then anything else. The reason i say this is because when i first got it, throughout the first two weeks it was doing work. I like to watch Youtube when i eat so this stand came in handy The thing is , after accidentally pushing the phone sideways the phones weight caused the stand to break. Of coarse this stand is plastic . But it was inconvenient having to re fix wit with superglue. To the point i just gave up the stand since it broke a days later Keep in mind, I'm sure the stand will be very useful if your careful with it. But for those who are on the go constantly, we can't always be careful with a TOOL thats supposed to be sturdy. So that is why i call this more of a gimmick than anything else. Like i said before if your very careful I'm sure it'll last you longer. But you will get to a point where you will get tired of BABYING a tool. So its up to you OVERALL, I would defiantly recommend this case. Its an awesome case that I'm still using to this day. Its been about 2 months now that I've had the case. Still working. Still looking good. ( QUICKTIP I clean the case every week to prevent any discoloration or dust on the case) So with that being said. IF it weren't for the weak stand, i would have given this case a 5. Hope this helps y'all in your purchase ! This is a beautiful case that pesticides superior phone protection. I purchased the rose gold to match my new phone and it does perfectly. It is very sturdy with great protection around the camera and even small pieces of rubber to prevent the case itself from resting directly on a surface to help keep the case looking nice. There is plenty of space to reach the mute ringer switch. Although it offers some front protection with a raised bumper around the front, I would still recommend a separate screen protector such as the tempered glass I put to provide extra screen perfection. As far as any cons... It does add a little bulk to the phone but not much and considering the level of protection it offers, it is well worth it. Second, the style I have has a small bar that comes out to allow the phone to be propped up for video watching and such. It works ok but is a bit flimsy. Finally the coverings on the lock button and the volume buttons are fairly stiff and makes it somewhat difficult to press them but those aren't big enough problems to pass on this really top quality, nice looking and protective case. A great investment to protect your iPhone 6s plus.

BEST CASE EVER! Until this case, I firmly did not believe you could find another case that matched the protection of the Otterbox Defender. I stand corrected. I can't say enough great things about this case! It is AWESOME! Unlike the Otterbox Defender, this Spigen Touch Armor case does not add bulk to the cell phone and it also costs MUCH LESS. This was shocking to me, and on top of all that it does its job protecting my phone perfectly. It also was an exact fit for my iPhone. I had zero issues with the fit. Most importantly, I seriously drop my phone almost every single day - sometimes more than once a day (thanks to the help of my 5-year old who often watches YouTube Kids on it ). I've had this case for a year and there's hardly any damage to the case and my iPhone is absolutely 100% in perfect shape - a whole year later after COUNTLESS drops! I seriously cannot recommend this case enough. Plus, it is very visually appealing (I get compliments on it often) and the case having a kickstand to watch videos to boot??? YOU JUST CAN'T BEAT IT! Buy it! You won't be disappointed.

This is one of the toughest cases that spigen makes for the iPhone 6. It feels like it provides good protection at the same time it isn't too bulky (being that I have the 6s+ that is important). The case is made of two parts. One is a soft rubber that wraps around the phone and the other is plastic that covers the back and provides rigidity. My usual complaint would be that the plastic would make it slippery but this has a bit of a grip to it, not a lot, but more than most other cases I've had. The kickstand on the back is a nice touch and I get a lot of use out of it. I read other places that it was hard to open but I never had any issues with it and it comes in handy pretty often. My only complaint is that the power button is hard to press with the case on and because of the location of the power button on the 6s+ whenever I try to lock the screen I usually end up turning the volume up or down. I guess this all depends on how you hold the phone. Overall this was the best iPhone case that I have had yet

I love this case! Great rose gold color and it's really sturdy & does it's job. I've had for almost a year and have dropped phone multiple times w/ my clumsiness and not a scratch or crack on it. Note that i've dropped it flat on its face several times and it is perfectly fine! I've dropped off of everything from bathroom sink to the street, and down a short flight of stairs. Case did it's job - Whew! I picked this case after watching a youtube video of a popular techie guy (Everything Apple Pro) reviewed over a dozen cases. This one was one of his top 3 reviews & he highly recommended. The other 2 in the video were a little too bulky for my taste and I liked the sleek look of this one. One more note - as a teacher, I love big bulky purses which end up being a black hole for everything from shoes, keys, wallet, notebooks,makeup bags, tools, etc. This case combined with a good screen protector has protected my cell despite being the beating my purse gives it. I took a good look at it just before writing this review and was actually super impressed that after a year, there's almost no scratches from even daily wear & tear on it! wow! Highly recommend, and would buy another one when I upgrade my cell.

I picked up the Rose Gold for my wife and her is awesome. Mine on the other hand is not. I am using her's as what mine should be. I like the case for the most part. I ordered it before I picked up the 6S plus before they came out. Needed to have something to make sure I would have a case to protected my Iphone. My power button is harder to push in, its easier now that I have had it in use for some time but still much harder than her's.. my case does hard shell cover does not fit well on the R/S (power) button side. Sorta snaps into place but not right. I had to do a lot of pushing to get it there the first few times I put it on. The rubber cover has a couple of issues on both R and L side where they just don't seem to be quite right. The rubber cover is tough made of good material, like how well it fits around the phone. Good grip and texture as well. Port access is Good, Vib switch is well protected. My first screen protector was "edge" with beveled ends for a good transition. This case does not work well with that type of screen protector. Picked up a different one and does fine. The kick stand for what it is is tough, solid far better then what the pic shows. It snaps into place solid and does not move unless you want to use it. I have used it just to say I have, Again surprised as to how well its made. As far as the case goes. IT is Extreme protection it is very well constructed good materials, I think I just got one that was off for what evert reason. Last to note I ordered this when I place my order for the iPhone 6S Plus. There was not much out at that time.

Case is tough alright! Kickstand was an added bonus just don't drop it while its in use i don’t think the small plastic stand will survive undamaged

So for a year, I used Otter box covers which saved my iphone 6splus from over 50 falls and nothing happened. but the cover never looked stylish..with this SPIGEN, its does same level of protection and looks classy too.. I only wish it could support and edge to edge screen protector so that incase iphone drops from any angle, it can be saved..however screen protection only on dispay part works well too
