Pretty good!
It's a little late to the season to see how well it fends off bugs, but the shipping was fast, burns very well and doesn't smell very strong.Make sure you get new wicks with your torches as well, you should not use your old ones with this product

1 star for mosquito repellent, 5 star for clean burning
"Firefly Safe & Green Guardian Helps to Deter Mosquitoes" is not much of a mosquito repellent, 1 hour out in the evening, 8 tiki torches in the vicinity and 15 mosquito bites just on my legs alone. So that's 1 star for mosquito repellent properties. On the other hand 5 stars for clean burning, this fuel makes tiki torches so much more enjoyable. I get no soot compared to Tiki Fuel brand, that brand was horrible. There was a reviewer that stated that they couldn't get Firefly Oil lit. I don't know what they are talking about, this is definitely a flammable liquid, lights easily and it burns really clean...

Wedding / reception at Maine summer cabin was mosquito-free! Somewhat expensive, but excellent product!
Fantastic! We had 75+ guests to our son's wedding at our summer cabin. We had purchased 16 kerosene lanterns to decorate and light our yard. As we considered fuel options, one that would deter mosquitos was the ideal choice. Two gallons of this product filled all of the lanterns and kept the yard mosquito free for both the rehearsal night and wedding / reception into the wee hours. Our guests were so impressed that many commented about it and some asked for the name of the product. We experienced no smoke or odor issues, but it did kill the grass in a spot where some was spilled (be more careful than we were!) I wholeheartedly recommend this product and will definitely buy it again for other camp events.

Defiantly needed new wicks as it states because with other tiki oil on them it wouldn't light at all, also not sure if it keeps mosquito's away yet but it burns clean and has a distinct smell so hopefully keeps mosquito away!

Firefly Lamp and Torch Fuels: Quality + Value
A bit pricey but kept the skeeters at bay with less odor than citronella. Distilled from organic oils, so less evap from the wick to make the Island King tiki torch's famous big flame. Still got a big flame though.I think next round I will go with the Eucalyptus fuel. Significantly less expensive and higher performance.Firefly is the tiki torch and lantern oil king. You will get more and better firelight and spend less while you're at it. I won't buy anything else anymore.

Think I paid $20 for $2 gallon of kerosene
Stuff evaporates out of lanterns. Original tiki oil stayed put and only was used up used when lit this oil is Much lighter than tiki brand. If you don't light your lanterns this stuff still evaporates and cans are empty. Also does nothing to keep mosquitoes away. Lastly. Unless you have can 3/4 full it burns like it's out of oil.

Great product and the only fuel we use in our touches
We have been using this for a year now and it works great in our touches. We use the touches for light and to keep bugs away and with the touches lit we don't have any issues with bugs. Soon as we get low we order another gallon for our 7 touches.

First use and it was great
Order arrived promptly and well packaged. Put oil in two small lamps and used them from 8:30 pm to midnight. They burned brightly, no smoke or odor. There were also no mosquitoes! Can't really tell if it was due to this oil, or the Sawyer insect repellent, or the combination but it was really nice not to be bothered by pesky insects.
