My son prefers to just read diary of a wimpy kid over and over again this is a great alternative and he loved it

I think this book should get a 5 star rating because : it is fun and creative and kind of learning about how you can wriye a fiction book .Next because it shows some perspective in the different characters .And it help you understand your life and how you should use it properly.Next because it show you how to make things at the back of the book and teacher you . And it can show you different animals and show you what's it is like.And thats why I think Tom Gates should get a 5 star rating.THANKYOU FOR READING

Yay! My 8 year old finally found another series that he is as obsessed about as Wimpy Kid! My son is not a big reader - he doesn't find many books interesting enough to hold his attention for long - but he LOVES these books. This series is relatable to most kids in upper elementary and middle school. I'm just very happy he's found something that he enjoys to read. If your child likes Wimpy Kid - he'll love this series! It's very funny and similar design style.

I liked the Delia’s a weirdo song the most, I am 7 years old and I would recommend this book to all my friends. Trey, Gerrit’s kid.

Because the author had a very creative mind. Tom Gate has an very funny life. The teachers are very fun. And I think Dogzombies is such a good idea for a band. I also enjoyed the Dude3 band.

My daughter is 10 and loves Tom Gates. She is a wimpy kid series fan and loves diary format books. Tom Gates fit the bill! She began reading wimpy kid as a 7 year old and before too long we had run through the entire series and then she did not read with such passion until we found Tom Gates!

My middle school students love this book! Funny and charming! The level of text is not very difficult, but it will still capture the interest of most upper elementary and middle school readers. I wish the rest of the books in the series were more accessible here in the US.
