Excellent dvd! Gives you a warm feeling after viewing... makes me wanna visit asap!

WOW! Great and sad to see at the same time the art of guitar making and the last of the American hardwoods no longer in forests, but in the old frames and floors of our oldest buildings.

Really good film overall.As an amateur woodworker, this is not a technical woodworking " how Rick Kelly makes his guitars" documentary. Not a lot of time is spent watching him actually do a guitar build from a woodworking point of view. Rather it is a wonderful glimpse into a week at the store. Very happy to have found this after watching 2 or 3 dud films.

To see the craftsmanship Rick and Cindy create is truly amazing. The instruments they make and the car that goes into them is awesome. Once you see the movie, you’ll want to have one of their guitars.

This is a lovingly filmed, but weirdly staged infomercial for a wonderful (and wonderfully expensive) boutique NYC guitar store. Mostly a montage of guitar porn, guitar-nerd godhead cameos (Sexton! Cline! Ribot! Frisel!) and gorgeously languid clips of Rick Kelley at work, there’s almost no attempt at biography - we really learn nothing about Rick - and the one iota of drama comes when a young Jewish realtor comes sniffing around the storefront; yeah, kinda yucky vibes from that obviously staged scene. All in all, this is Fretboard Journal meets Pawn Stars, and guitar geeks will revel in it, despite its lack of depth or cinematic distinction.

I loved the video and it’s a great documentary. Got during covid19 quarantine. Very well done in my opinion
