JUVEN UNFLAVORED PACKETS (BX)

My wife had Multiple Sclerosis and due to complications of the disease she died. If we had known before it was too late to change the inevitable it might have helped with other Abbott products she was taking. If you have a love one with a health problem, please make sure that if their eating habits change, their doctor knows about it and has periodic blood work done to prevent future problems from happening due to changes in diet.

The flavor and texture of this is terrible. I drank it for several months before I couldn’t take it any more. I now have collagen powder on my cereal along with 2 Wound Vite capsules daily.

I purchased this product for an elderly woman with a treatment resistant pressure sore. Have used the orange and berry flavored Juven with acceptable results, and wanted an unflavored version for some dietary variety (ie, soups, hot chocolate, tea). This product is not unflavored. It has a slightly salty, bitter taste that is difficult to cover up. We're going back to the orange and berry flavored Juven. Juven is a great product for wound healing, but the unflavored is not for us.

Expensive, but well worth it: easy to use and more importantly it really seems to help heal skin breakdown in a bedbound patient.

Unflavored does not mean without taste. This stuff is awful! I spent a lot of money on this, and I can’t even get one of those packets down. Mixing it with other things does not help. Bleh!
