Nice Set of twelve 8-Inch Throwing-Knives Is A Total Blast!
We ordered this set as it appeared to contain a lot of knives for the price! And we were not disappointed when we tried them! We're not the most experienced knife-throwers, but this set is helping us develop our skills. They're well-balanced and provide a nice, satisfying "Whump!" as they stick firmly into our cedar end-grain target. The knives have a nice heft and are well-balanced and easy to throw. We've used them quite a bit and they've held up well to our efforts to improve our throwing techniques. They've sharpened up nicely when needed. We love this set!

Good product for a good price.
These knives are made of good quality stainless steel. They are well balanced and sharp, easy to throw and the included zipper sheath is adequate to store them. Time will tell how durable they are.

Nice blade. Ok for Beginners. Throw your Heart uut!
The media could not be loaded. New to throwing. Wanted to start with a Straight throw, no rotation.Accomplished with this knife at 3 meters, and did i say im a beginner? Lol.The blades are About 95-100grams (I weighed them all)A good throwing knife is balanced at the middle, and between 100-200 grams(depending on your throwing style)Anything more light or heavy, or balanced toward the front or back, will require more practice/skill.Good Luck Throwers...Just remember to throw your garbage in the garbage and recycling in the recycling, that is the best way to practuce Your aim.

Good Set for Price
Im no pro, but these have done fine by me so far. Durable and sharp, but they are light weight, so do be careful on the rebounds, they can bounce back pretty far.Great set for reducing trips back to the target to reload. I like to line them all up in my left hand, in a stack, to where I can keep my position once found, and repeat-throw with right hand. I feel when you can keep your position and continue without stopping, you can then get a better understanding of what proper technique feels like. Personally, I think these work better with a two-finger pinch at base of handle, or at tip of blade. If you try to hold these handles with a handshake position, as for knives or hatchets that are blade heavy, I don't think it is going to throw well, due to the light weight...not impossible, but not too simple either.Good Luck!!

Great value, lots of fun!
I made axe throwing targets out of scrap 2x4s and some punky log rounds. I bought these half as a joke, as something else to throw at the targets. I had no idea how fun and satisfying throwing these would be. They are light but tough. 3/5 on durability because the tips dull quickly, but that doesn’t impact performance. They have survived me and several family & neighbors learning to throw. That has been a lot of abuse. We lost 2 but never broke any. It took a lot of practice to get consistent and the feeling of sticking a throw is bliss. But what really feels great is teaching someone else to throw a knife and help them to land a throw. It’s been really gratifying, never thought I’d get this many smiles, cheers, and high-fives out of an inexpensive pack of throwing knives.

Too light my
They are decent set of knives but for throwing they need some weight to him. They're way too light. They just bounce off Target

Best Bang For Your Buck For Beginners
If you have never thrown before, these knives are simple and plentiful. Great at 6-12 foot ranges. Easy to hold 6 in one hand as you plunk your way to proficiency. The sound of the knife striking an end grain target is explicit in results, a satisfying thunk of a good strike, and a clank of a missed throw. Decent durability for the cost. Recommend placing plywood up behind and below your target to increase the lifespan of your knives. A missed throw against a steel or concrete backdrop will chip or wear your blades causing burrs and dents as to be expected.I took 1500 grit sand paper to the edges of the handles to barely smooth the edges of the handles from the manufacturer's crisp angles. Any burrs formed in the handle or blade and be taken care of with a small file as the only thing that needs to stay relatively sharp is the point. The large quantity of blades provides the new thrower plenty of repetitions with fewer trips back and forth to the target. Be aware that because these blades are lightweight the potential for a bad bounce is possible and keep your feet protected. Stay safe, have fun. I will enjoy wearing down these blades.

These knives are awesome.
I actually had another set of them that my brother got me for my birthday one year, but I had to leave them at his house in California because I couldn't take them on the plane. I still intend to get them back, but I missed them so much that I just bought another set. One thing that I will say is that the side of the blade is sharp, so throwers should be aware when holding then. It is very easy to accidentally cut your fingers. The sides are razor sharp. That being said, you get used to that pretty quickly. I have had three other sets of throwing knives and these are the best set yet not only in quality and throw-ability, but in value for the money as well.
