Perfect fit, Very comfortable
I was worried that the recommended 36/38 C/D would be too big . ( I'm new to this Breast cancer/lumpectomy etc) Before surgery I was a 34D. ((fitted by Nordstrom) I was delighted to figure out that Nordstrom also does Prothesis fitting! Yay. They recommended that i now needed 36C. Besides the 2 bras i bought at Nordstrom i felt i needed something slightly more relaxed. The Hannah style is perfect and fits wonderfully. I hate the VERY SCRATCHY TAG so that will have to go.

Great post-surgical bra!
I had a lumpectomy a week ago, and was told that I would need either a sports bra or a post-surgical bra to wear for 2 weeks afterwards. I was told that it would help if it fastened in the front and it would need to be very supportive to help with pain. I struggled to find anything in my size, as I have a large band size with a small cup size. Thankfully the oncology nurse patient advocate I was working with had some of these bras in my size that had been donated. She helped me find the right fit and then gave the bra to me. I ended up ordering a second one so I would always have a clean bra ready. The bra is super soft, and there are no exposed seams that might chafe. The bra come as is, or you can order it with mastectomy forms, and/or drain bags that Velcro to the bottom band. The front fastener is sturdy, and the shoulder straps can be unhooked so you can adjust within the cup without taking the whole bra off. My one complaint is that there is no adjustment in the straps. I have a very long torso and I need more length from shoulder to band. Since there is none, I spend a lot of my time tugging the bra down. Given that most potential wearers are as big and tall as I am, I suspect that this isn't an issue for most folks. I actually am willing to deal with this minor annoyance as the bra really does help with post-operative pain. It's worth it for me. I may actually use these bras once I no longer need to wear them any longer, they are pretty comfortable.

Comfortable Post-Mastectomy Bra (once drains were pulled)
I bought this as an alternative to the Hannah Camisole, the garment I was sent home in after my bilateral mastectomy and reconstruction. Once I didn’t need to support drains, I wanted a similar feel without the bulk of the camisole. Listen, it ain’t pretty or sexy and that really isn’t the purpose. Think sixth grade training bra, lace trim and all. But it is super comfortable, offers light support, and washes relatively well. The sizing aligns to the Hannah Camisole for a point of reference. One important note: mastectomy bras are considered Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and thus covered by insurance. You’ll need a prescription and a dealer who can process the insurance (trans: probably not an Amazon vendor). But if you can’t wait to go through that process (like I was), this vendor and product were the perfect fit!

Size Options Appreciated!
Many things are great about these bras (front closure, soft support, quality fabric & construction), but best part is SIZE OPTIONS. If you're small around torso but need C/D cup, you're out of luck with most brands. Conversely, someone large around torso & A/B cup would be out of luck as well. Amoena offers the options variable-size women need. I've bought SO many of these!

Post surgery bra
I am using it after my mastectomy and I like how it looks as compared to other bras I bought. However, I’m in quite a lot of pain and the first 2 weeks when I needed the drains to take out the fluid, this was too tight and caused some fluid retention. The size is as expected but I’d like to have a way to adjust the width and the straps, but there’s not. If I had that feature this would have been perfect, but knowing what I’m experiencing now I’d have looked for one that allowed to adjust width and straps.

Better to find a way to try on first somewhere
Well it is soft as stated and front closure is what I wanted, but there is no flexibility of strap length, or the closure hook area. Since I needed one to wear after my surgery,so did not want to wait to return and try again, I just made it a snugger fit with my sewing machine. Support is average at best. So it will do but would not buy online again if at all. The warner one I purchased locally, although not cotton and not specifically for after breast surgery wear, fits and supports much better and if I turn it and hook while facing front and then just move to the back everything works just fine. Plus the warner one has a longer bottom part so covers better.

Cotton, soft and perfect
This bra arrived the day after my lumpectomy - it has been perfect for my recovery! I had ordered another bra from another great company but the shoulder straps were not adjustable so it didn’t work for me. I love that this bra is 82% cotton as it was hard to find this type of bra with a high cotton content. Lastly, it is so much more comfortable (and soft!) than a regular sports bra. I highly recommmend.

But I love this bra
I only wear a bra when necessary and the first thing I do when I get home is take it off. But I love this bra, it's the most comfortable bra I have ever bought. It fits perfectly and looks good under a tee shirt. I love the front closure and the coverage underarms, also the support at the back. I am very happy with this product.

Comfy even though I have not had a mastectomy
I need a front closure bra due to shoulder pain. I like that this bra covers more of my chest than other front closure bras. It looks more like a regular bra, and the material has good thickness. The shoulder padding is good as well. I like that there is an opening on the inside of the cups so that I can insert a foam liner so that my nipples don't show through on plain colored /thinner material tops. I am short waisted so the narrower under band works better for me and doesn't curl up, plus they are soft. The clips on the straps don't have any impact or use for me. I wish it came in more colors. I may have to try to dye one black or beige. It still needs more washings and wearings to soften up the stitching. I have very sensitive skin.
